12. Absolutely stunning. awesome and beutiful... seriously considering getting a custom jazz. i finally aquired a 5 string sei so now i have a 6,5,and 4. sei basses rule.
13. about a month ago there were 8 sei bassses for sale in the gallery!!!! i now have 3 seis 6 string headless barts ,shack pre, awesome 5 string headed barts , shack pre , peizo ,awesome 4 string headless , unsure of pups (maybe kent armstrong), u retro deluxe awesome. if a sei jazz came up id have one in an instant but i would have a completly different pre amp in it and would defo go for a peizo too. i think the gallery have a black sei jazz for sale. ive put my jazz 5 in the gallery for repair/setup etc , if it comes back and i dont get on with it ill prob gonna go for a custom sei jazz. ive had a spector usa 5 and also have a wood and tronics 5 but the seis just pip the top spot all the time . i liked youre sei the attention to deatail on sei basses are awesome, ive been very very lucky with the second hand seis ive aquired and always keep my eyes out for them, john from the gallery said they are making more jazz basses and he had a 5 string jazz through neck on the workbench as we spoke (looked nice). hope this helps
14.
Hi Peter, I think your topic title will attract the answer "There is no 'best' out there, because it's down to personal preference" then you will be inundated with different answers for your second question too. You might find that it won't be that helpful any more than a long list of great 6 string basses. You won't know till you start playing as many as possible to find out what suits you. I could give you a long list of basses I have owned and tell you all about them, but it might be better to list all the places you can go to play some real tasty kit instead! Bass Gear, Bass Direct, Bass Merchant, The Gallery etc... But in answer to your question, Shuker every time. I've two customs built to my specifications and they are spot on the best basses I have ever played - but as I say, they are built to my requirements and thus might not be liked by others.
+1 i agree. but heres my best 6 string bass. and my only one now as it does all i need and i play five strings more .
15. cor id have this but aint got no room for the peizo knob anywhere on me bass! and obviously need the preamp too!!
