6.
After one of my trademark quick changes of mind, the 2x10" that I bought off the forum here last week is back up for sale. One of the carpet covered 2x10" 200w 8ohm cabs - usuall punchy Trace tone The carpet covering on the last pic looks worse than it is -- probably just needs a pair of scissors taken to it to trim it down. Looking for £150 plus delivery 2nd up I thought I'd never sell this and probably will as soon as it goes. My trusty 4052H bright box. 4x5" speakers and rated 200w @ 8ohms. Designed by trace to give you added top end zing. Also designed to be used where you already have your amp running at its usual 4ohm load, you can plug this in as well due the crossover built in Looking for £120 plus postage. PM me with your location for a postage estimate. ohh la la id be interested in the bright box , but ill have to sell my HORN box 1st or selll my body as i just bought a new 5 string!!!! bump for the bright box!!!!
10. Hi guys girls and those that can go either way!!! just got a trace 150watt@8ohms Horn box NOT a 4x5 bright box its obviously suited to the last trace cabs (small ones). so do i just plug it in like this;- jack out from amp into my main cab then out of the link of the cab into the input of the horn cab? and am i plugging my stack in properly;- jack out from amp head to input of 1st cab then link to link to the other cab? and ( i just thought of this) does the 1st cab i plug in from the head get more power 1st? now heres another question! (sorry);- can i use all three cabs without another head? and would a 4x5 200watt bright box sound better than the horn box? kindest regards ziggy/john.

 12. i bought my full trace rig about 10/15 yrs ago rah400smx,carpet coverd 1x18=4x10 vynyl coverd 9and the cabs were very tatty) £ 650.00 sold them and got two 4x10h, sold one 4x10h, then got a 1x15 plus my 4x10h, just got a 2x10h, and hopefully a bright box on the way so i can now have any combination i like! phew! but ive always kept my 400smx head its just the nuts, cut out twice (think it overloaded) in around 10/15 yrs i didnt realise how good it sounded untill a bass player got up and done a few numbers throuhg ,my rig the thing punched through a long way into the crowd. so now im gonna get (if money allows me ) another trace head to power the two cabs separately. i love my trace (and i have a wife tracy without the e!!!). ps i went to the gallery to change my whole set up and i was advised just to change the cabs NOt the Head. and if you get a smx head the compressoer is the nuts dude1

 15.
It has an ebony board. I've played this bass and it's absolutely wonderful - the only reason it's still for sale is that there isn't room to fit a V-bass pickup to it, otherwise I would have bought it on the spot. I'm still wondering whether that was the right decision so hurry up before I change my mind. Ady is a thoroughly nice chap too, he even gave me a lift back to the railway station!
wow lovely whats the neck profile like on her and what does she sound like? kindest regards ziggy bump for a bargin

 19.
I think your Sei is probably a 35" scale, which is commonly known a 'extra long scale'. The 'standard' scale is 34" and know as 'long scale'. The Trace Elliott strings will probably be for a 34" scale instrument and won't stretch to fit 35" scale. Measure the scale length as suggested previously and then search for the right string length. I think you'll find it very difficult to get a 6 string set. You could give Martin at the Bass Gallery a ring to find out if he can recommend strings to fit. Good luck
hi everyone, measured the scale and its 35 inch! ill put the bass in to the gallery and get it set up etc, thank you for youre time once again. ziggy.
 20.
I remember going to a music fair at wembley in the early 90's. Bought a few sets of Trace headless cheap, I had a lot of trouble tring to fit them into my washburn.I thought that all headless strings were the same(doh!) Obviously not
hmmm i think the sei may be longer than 34 but they are long scale double ball ends sorry to be a knob but how do you measure the scale of a bass?
