1. I always wanted a short scale bass, I'm a small guy. So I got this and is soooo pretty. Its sparkly. Seriously, it's really sparkly. What it also has is this: Through body stringing, Painted headstock Really hot Humbucker pickup-soapbar style(unlike the other mustangs) Short-scale Rosewood fretboard Currently the pickup is wired straight to the jack, I believe I can hear just a touch more top end out of it now but obviously the volume and tone have no effect currently. So let me know if you want me to wire it back up for you. Also I've stuck white vinyl stickers between the Frets to look like block inlays. They should pull straight off. Its just not getting the love it needs and my Mrs has moved in so I need some space (also trying to shift my tce rs212 cab) I'm looking for £175 posted in the UK, I would much much prefer collection from Rickmansworth Herts (near Watford, end of the metropolitan line, just outside north west London). I do drive, so hand delivery within a reasonable distance is not a problem. Payment via paypal or cash on collection /delivery
2. Hey y'all, I bought this rs212 a while ago through bc as a spare as I'm in two bands and wanted the luxury of having a cab local to where I practice with each band to save hassle. The new band uses rehearsal studios that already provide backline,as do the gig venues we pay, so this has literally not left the house. Its not even been turned up loud. Comes with cover and is in excellent condition. Collection please from Rickmansworth, Herts (near Watford, just outside Nw London), however I do have a car and could deliver a reasonable distance at cost. SOLD Pics to follow tonight. Ps: I'm selling other stuff too, some pedals, a Squier Mikey Way Mustang Bass
3. Bumperizzle. I'll do it for £99 posted
4. Dod bi-fet boost sold pending payment
5. What sort of things are you looking for in trade? I've got a Loud Button Subharmonic Aural Shockwave Generator Octave pedal and an Ews Bass Mid control 2 up for sale at the moment.
6. Personally, I think fuzz pedals are perfect for that application, adding depth and filling out some of the frequencies lost when the guitarist goes up top. Essentially it helps you also be the "other guitarist" as well as the bass player. Octave pedals will most likely mean modifying your style and bass lines to ensure the best tracking, however they are also a great way to fatten up your tone. There are so many fuzz pedals at different price points, with different approaches to how low frequencies are handled. Thats the real issue. Most drive pedals will rob you of your low end, as most are designed for guitarists, although there are more and more builders making bass specific pedals and there are a few fuzz pedals that I think sound great on both (russian Big Muff, coloursound tonebender). Have a look in the classifieds here for fuzz pedals. Prices are much cheaper Than retail and you know that most will work great on bass.
7. DOD SOLD!!
8. Dod OD on hold pending payment!
9. Rusty Box sold pending payment
10. Arghhhh G.A.S. again. Gotta sell some shizzle to buy some bizzle. Got an active bass again so I have got a few things surplus now. Pics/further details to follow. Prices include UK postage, PayPal by preference. All pedals in full working order. Ews Bass Mid control 2 - £99 - boost and cut a specific midrange frequency. This is the newer, bmc2 which has controls for freq, cut/boost (for that frequency) overall volume and an input gain switch.it also is internally switchable to run on 18v without needing an Additional 18v power supply. Great for fine tuning your sound, especially on passive basses. Trades: I'm looking for: an SFX thumpinator.
11. Vibrato sold too!
12. Little bear mammoth fuzz SOLD!
13. Darkglass sold pending payment!
14. I've got a whole bunch of effects for sale, if you'd be interested in a trade? Long shot I know, if not then here's a free bump for you.
15. Vt Bass is gone!!
16. Chaps and Chapesses, Got a fair few pedals that are now finally suplus, some of these I never thought i'd let go but ive still got plenty left over! Prices include UK postage. Loud Button Electronics Atomic Subharmonic Aural Shockwave Generator - £119 - reportedly a clone of the Ampeg Sub-Blaster (which I used to own too, and is the reason i got this). One of the best octavers ever in my opinion. Tracking is absolutely stunning, the tone is thick and deep and smooth as f*ck. I bought it in St Paul, Minnesota and I cant seem to find another one for sale in the UK, which is a shame coz more people should check it out. DOD OD250 Overdrive/Preamp - SOLD - this is a 90s reissue, not the modern reissue. Any questions, just ask. I could do some pedal demos too on request but its not my forté Thanks for looking
17. Sold a couple of pedals to Guven, great guy!
18. Someone buy this, jeez. There is no way this should still be here.
19. I've owned and used quite a few preamp pedals and im still mightily impressed with my Tech 21 VT Bass.
