1. As above, depending on configuration, can I have second dibs on them please
2. Alan Price AKA Catswhiskers pickups, make some really nice pickups. I've got some A4 PAFs in a 339 of mine, that sound fabulous The Dimarzio 36 Anniversary set are very nice, as are the Dimarzio PAF masters Tonerider PAF A4,and Ironheart Blue's engines are good value.
3. Kent Armstrong also made pickups with hex grub screws. I have a see thru Strat pickup in my parts cupboard, that's made by him,it must be 25 years old now at least. The coil and magnets are sunk in to clear resin What was I thinking ! Lol
4. Fantastic seller!! the item came very well packaged and in very good condition (exactly as described), it was posted the day after payment was received and the seller went the extra mile by including high quality speaker cables as well as extra footswitch and power cables, he was polite and helpful as well as replying to messages quickly, answering questions I had regarding operation of the unit. highly recommended!
5. I'm ever so sorry guys,I still have it haven't been here for ages. Whoever's next in line, can you let me know where to post it to. Will be Thurs/Fri of this week before I can get to the post office though. Again, please except my apologies. Steve
6. Keep 'em coming chaps. Definitely going to have a real good listen to the Spectra comp. Thanks for your input so far. Steve
7. Ok, I'm in the market for a compressor, what are you faves and why ? Anyone had any dealings with the TC Spectra comp ? I'd love too hear your suggestions before I spend any dosh. Many thanks in advance.
8. I'm looking for someone to build me a copy of this pedal. I have the original and use it for recording at home, but a few weeks ago I was looking for an Eq pedal for my gigging pedal board and came across this. I tracked the original builder, back to the "free stomp boxes" site, and emailed him but I've had no response,so it's time to move on. I'm just looking at a price at the moment to see if it's going to be a viable option,or look for something else. I really like the aesthetics of the pedal ( keeping it very close to the original) Plus I really like the mini 'Mooer' size for my ever expanding board.😆
9. Bought a TC Electronics Sub n Up from Gary, the transaction went smoothly. The pedal is like new, and sounds great It was sent very quickly, and was well packed. I can highly recommend dealing with Gary Top chap.
10. Thanks guys for all your input so far at least Looks like the aftershocks going to be tuff to beat at this rate. Steve
11. Hello,I'd really like to hear some opinions on the ramblings that I've listed below and anything else that anyone has any experience with. I'm looking for a distortion/fuzz for my board,I already use an Xotic RC (always on) and an Xotic BB for valve grind tones, but I'm looking for something that is capable of more extreme tones. Here's what's I've come up with so far. A) Source Audio - After shock B)Sleeping Dog - Low end theory C) Wren + Cuff - Pickle pie b I'm sure any of these pedals can do the job But which would you go for,and why ? I'd really appriceate your knowledge and input on this subject. Many thanks guys
12. I'm sort of interested in your pedal, but do you have any idea how these compare to the POG ? Thank you
13. Mark sent me a set of Fender bass strings for free, and in return I made a small payment to the Macmillan cancer charity The strings were almost new, what a kind jesture. Many thanks sir. Steve
