Cracking bass - have a bump on me!
Hi, Tis the same one, yep, decent fella, just get by better with the 5 string, not sure why, but hey there you go, thanks for the bump, almost like a male pregnancy thing going on here, what an interesting concept, not. 2. This bass was traded with another user on this forum, and having also aquired the same model in a 5 string version, am not overjoyed with the 4 string version, so maybe time to try something else. Open to trades, and looking Yamaha TRB Fender Deluxe Precision [U.S. not MX] High End Ibanez Or just hit me with your ideas, would be willing to sell also. By the way, the Bass is in Nirvana Black. 3.
Only got this in September from BottomEndian but just not getting on with the width of the neck and find my Ibanez SR505 much easier to handle. The bass is in excellent condition and has an extremely versatile 3 band pre-amp to get the best of the Bartolini pickups. Pictures are from the original for sale thread (hope BottomEndian doesn't mind me using them) but the bass is in exactly the same condition as it arrived to me although I have restrung it with Elixirs. Technical specs from Ibanez cab be seen here: http://www.ibanez.com/BassGuitars/model-BTB775PB
Hi, I have a 4 & 5 String Warwick Corvette $$ Double Buck, of which I'm thinking of trading the 4 string, however, was looking into the possibilty of an Ibanez, was just wondering about the neck width and depth of your Ibanez compared to my corvette 5. The corvette 5's neck is great for me, have had Ibanez before as I know they're necks are generally slim, so was suprised by the corvette's slim neck also. I love my Corvette 5, but hate the 4 string version, so looking a trade, interested? The GroovyPlucker
 4.
Hi I have to sell one of my guitars. I would rather stay with my Yamaha but... we will see. I have couple years old Yamaha TRB 1005. It has some marks. scratches etc. (nothin' major) plays beautifully. One of the besTEST basses i've ever played on. I can send photos on your e-mail if required. Second guitar is approx 3 months old Ibanez SR506. Still have receipt and I still pay the finances for this one. Anyway I have to get rid with one of these guitars ASAP. Offers please. I'm located in Coventry. cheers
Hi, Can we see some pics, is the TRB Korean? Cheers The GroovyPlucker
 5. Hi, How wide and deep is the neck on the Yamaha, I have a Warwick Corvette Double Buck, which is quite narrow, and not too wide, for a 5 string, does the trb compare? Cheers The GroovyPlucker
 6. Another triumph for distance trading. From the forum Basses for sale thread was contacted by budget bassist for an exchange for my Musicman for his Warwick $$. Made all the nessecary plans re postage times etc, and just as before, we posted the same day, same service and both arrived with a new Bass apiece. Just to reiterate to any sceptics, this idea[L] can and does work, and we're both happy traders with our new toys. Many, many, thanks to Sam for an effortless, and smooth trade, an honourable member of this community. The GroovyPlucker

 16.
Wow, that's a very sparkly finish isn't it... I've not played a MM - how does it compare to a Warwick neck then?
Hi, It's probably not as sparkly as the pics suggests, the flash just excentuates it, it looks more matt when you're on stage. The MM.s neck is wider, but about the same depth. I have small hands, but can cope with it ok. The main difference is that the MM is heavier, body wise especially, but not uncomfortably so, just noticibly so. Apart from that there's very little between em. The main diference I find is the MM is more meaty, in a slightly precision way, and the Warwick is more woody and sharp, not sure if that's an accurate description, but it's how I view them, Cheers The GroovyPlucker
 17. Ha, so do I! It's a cracking Bass, but have just fallen in lurve with my Corvette Double Buck 5 String, so looking a 4 string Warwick. Just an additional pointer to anyone considering trade, I'm based in Northern Ireland, and have recently traded a bass with another user, via the post, you can check the details out in the feedback section, again just to put any potential traders minds at rest, unless of course the potential trader resides in Norn Iron. Cheers The GroovyPlucker

 19. Just completed a trade with this forum user and have to say it was a pleasure. We traded Basses, via distance, on a postal and trust basis. So it can, and does happen, have faith in humankind. Great Bass as well, excellent condition and am really pleased with it, and the outcome of the whole deal. A great guy, cheers. The GroovyPlucker
 20.
At last I've got my MM StingRay, so up for grabs is myWarwick Corvette $$ in Nirvana Black. I bought this new in 2006 and it's been my main gigging bass for the past 2½ years. It's in extremely good condition with all electrics working 100% and minimal fret wear. This bass is used but by no means abused. I look after my gear and treat it with the respect it deserves. The black chrome finish has worn away on the pickup screws and on the bridge saddles. (See pics). Obviously this does not affect the playability, and in fact it wore off during the first six months. As you can see from the pics the black oil finish next to the bridge pickup has worn a bit, but I have to rest my fingers somewhere! Aside from that, the body is unmarked. The bass has never been dropped, knocked or dinked and the neck is straight and unmarked. There is a very slight mark on the top of the headstock, but you'd have to look very hard to see it. I replaced the original Warwick strap locks with Schaller ones early on because I found the Warwick ones to be a bit unreliable. They have a push button to release them and I found that the pins started jamming meaning that they wouldn't seat properly when I put the strap on, potentially causing the strap to part company with the guitar. The Schaller strap fittings will be included in the sale. It comes with the original Warwick gig bag and case candy. (Allen keys, truss rod tool, manual and unopened Warwick polishing cloth). I'm putting this on eBay just to keep my options open. Wish I could afford to keep it, but something must go to justify my StingRay! I'm down in sunny (ha ha) Cornwall. If you live in my neck of the woods you're very welcome to come and try it. As for the price, I'd like to see £625 for it. (I've done my homework and the best price I've found on a new one of these is £945 from Absolute Music Solutions in Poole, Dorset.)
Would you be interested in a trade, have a fender steve harris precision bass, cheers mark
 21.
Have you got a base price figure in mind?
Hi, Not really, was probably looking a trade first I guess, don't really have to let it go, it's a year old and cost £900, Cheers Mark
