1. I'm trying to save for university and selling off my electro to help - then this comes up, possibly in my top 3 ideal Status basses
2. Hmm - reading through the different models, I think red may be more what I'm after - thanks anyway
3. Straight swap wiring wise? And when you say gold, are they cold coloured?
4. +1 for Status strings
5. Queen - The Show Must Go On
6. Those speakers are shocking, people have brought them to gigs before and I've just had them as a seat at the mixer
7. I don't quite see why you want to join the channels together, but you could do it with a patch bay and insert cables (TRS to L/R mono) - L (Tip)------ Patch Channel 1 socket 1 - TRS ------- }---------- Patch Channel 1 output 1 R (Ring) --- Patch Channel 1 socket 2 - So you're sort of splitting it, but with a patch bay rather than lots of unsightly and much less reliable splitters. Edit Blegh formatting... um
L (Tip)------ Patch Channel 1 socket 1 - TRS ------- }---------- Patch Channel 1 output 1 R (Ring) --- Patch Channel 1 socket 2 -
8.
you mean the royal soldering pickup correctly association
Exactly - very helpful bunch of people.
9. I would say the RSPCA would be all over you if you took a soldering iron anywhere near new pups....
10. There will almost certainly be a truss rod (accessable from the sound hole) and the saddle can be sanded down to suit - just make sure the bottom is still completly flat or you won't get the same pick-up by the... pickup off each string
11.
2 Basses Head Cab Stand Mic Stand + My Alu Case containing...
Mic Leads Picks Tuner Strings Strap Torch Tools Tape Fuses Tyraps Notepad Pens Rohypnol Kitchen Sink

Can't beat a good ol' roofie marg.
12. The Status single tuners have the advantage of allowing you to space the bridge gaps as you wish, and the new design never takes any effort to turn (while never slipping unintentionally!)
13. Well they don't have any input checks on the address, suggesting either a sloppy business or a sloppy scam.
14. Take it back and let it run to irritating levels?
15. I'd say ash/basswood.
16. Nay bother. *closed*
17. Used Belkin Flash Drive, 128mb - redundant and taking up desk space. Free to a good home Steve.
18. 18 "Business Card" CDs. Hard to describe, they are CDRs, but business card size/shape. Hold ~40mb each as far as I remember, and the other side is printable. Maybe some use to people distributing their own software or presentations? I don't know how I got them to be honest. Each has it's own sleve/case thing. Free to a good home Steve.
19. Unofficial biography of Ozzy Osbourne, by Sue Crawford. Perfect condition, hardback with cover & colour pics inside. Free to a good home. Steve.
20. Gene Simmons' autobiography, I don't know where the outer cover has gone but condition is pretty much perfect. Free to a good home. Steve.
21. I find a 2*10 with tweeter has quite enough low end for me, but I guess if you want that P-bass style 'thud' it wouldn't stand up to scrutiny. You could look into a 1*15 with a tweeter possibly, my wee MAG115 cab sounds pretty damn good by itself with some high end boost on the EQ.
22. BOD2's suggestion does sound like the most likely "cure", though if it's got a ground loop there will be a reason why; so when you get a break from gigs it would probably be better to have it looked at to fix the problem, rather than a workaround.
