Sorry - But yes, I'd say that it needs to either be switchable for each user, or that the replacement terms are understandable to everyone without it being offensive. Maybe just Cockneys understand these terms, or all Londoners, maybe even everyone from England - but I certainly haven't the time or energy to decrypt some of the sentences appearing with a Cockney Rhyming Slang dictionary. Oh - And the gay thing gets my back up a bit.

Last time we had lighting it was mainly comprised of ETC Source Four 50's, gelled up in nice combinations - Purple and orange being my favourite

Just wondering if anyone else is a fan of Ollie Collins? He plays Fender 5 string basses (fretted and fretless), Piccolo basses, Chapman Stick, Double Bass, EUB, Sousaphone, Tres, Keys and sings... Very good album out called Make Time Last, available on his website and I think he sells direct on eBay too. There are a few wee sound clips on the website - though he could well be a member here without me realising as BW is mentioned on the website

Have you tried Sennheiser CX300s? I prefer the sound of them to the Shure E2Cs, but they weren't rugged enough to live up to drunken deep-frying

It's on, but not perfectly shaped or any finish applied yet. Still not sure about the wood, and I don't see any point progressing until I've decided :S

I realise this doesn't really relate to the question asked - but I've worked in a "Gastropub" (don't hit me, not my idea) for a fair while now and I tend to be in the bar most of the time. It's great from the POV of non smoking staff, not to get smoke blown in your face for 40-70h a week, and there's been little drop in trade... though the crowd does die down after about midnight, we used to have to wait around till all hours for them to leave (locals, mostly, so no hardship)

Facing was off eBay and it's only .6mm thick, so I won't need to remove any of the original front surface to allow truss rod access, etc. I'll try and get a photo of its current state up tomorrow, exams permitting.
