So why do want a sado? Perhaps you’ve had/have the wrong fenders?
-
Yes sorry I’m talking about the better parts of fender which my experience tells me is: fullerton reissue jazzes and precision’s (1982 to 1986) some of the later USA reissues that weigh less than 10lbs custom shop japanease fenders Mexican classic range and some other Mexicans including cabronita, rascal deluxe pj passive vintage fenders up to 1974 and some 1975 to 1982 but watch weight, sloppy 3 bolt necks and bullet trusses Fender signatures - roscoe beck 5 (but not the 4), Tony Franklin fretless , jaco and 60th anniversary p bass Also squiers:- jv series vi string 1980’s bullet I will add more as I remember them

I’ve had one USA and various metros including jazzes and a pj - haven’t had a pure p bass sado My opinion? Get a Fender

Thanks for that So i think a useful mod would be to use the American tuners and string tree which I expect are difficult to source here in U.K.
-
So here are the parts from a tribute bass and from the G & L parts department The latter look much better quality and are USA parts SO which type does the L100 have Photos would be great!
-
The let down usually is the string tree and the tuners Could you post photos you of both sides of the headstock? Thanks

Why do some BC sellers insist on buyer arranging courier?

“ I presumed the item was insured ” Never do this A look at the shipping cost the seller quotes will usually confirm that it cannot possibly include insurance Example 72 fender precision priced at £2500 with shipping £30 !!!! -

But parcelforce only lets you insure basses up to £100 and then only in a hard case? -

You say you “don'ttrust the insurance to pay out the actual value of the itemin a timely manner, if at all.” As a logistics manager working in this area can I ask you to detail the cases you know of that involved insurance claims? I believe the test of an insurance company is whether and how they pay out on claims Thanks -

What is needed is to hear what happened in cases when things went wrong - the bass was lost or damaged - both cases where seller arranged courier and where buyer arranged courier - and where it was covered by insurance and the insurance company actually paid out and where it was insured but insurers refused the claim and where there was no insurance -

Whatever happened to the Cabronita Precision?
gareth replied to Grahambythesea's topic in Bass Guitars
“Whatever happened to the Cabronita Precision?” Having sold my Fender Radcal I pressed the button and will be collecting this next week So I’ll let you know -
I know comparisons are difficult But I’m missing a valve amp I had a trace V6 and I’m missing it and was thinking of another valve amp but only say 50/100 watts So how does the Bassman differ tonally to say your V4? Thanks
