why you playing sup so high?
the sound is far better lower down on a higher string
don't get into all that Nathan eastish crossing strings crap - it makes for a lazy technique

when the bass had active pickups were any routes in the body made?
photos of the front body with guard off would be good plus photos of the neck stub and neck pocket if possible

BTW you are selling a great bass - I have forgotten the exact model terminology but your bass is based on a 60's fender (rosewood board) rather than a 70's fender (maple board) - I think yours is RV and the maple version is MV

Chris if I were you - and you are happy with a jazz neck - 1.5 not 1.75 at the nut - I would consider the above MIM precision special or the California Series equivalent or even a Reggie Hamilton as although they are active they have a true passive bypass that functions with no battery
