2. Hi Kev, My mail account doesn't work on here, hasn't worked for some time, don't know why, the PC just hangs up when I try to use It. Send me a mail at [email protected] , & we'll sort something out. Cheers mate. Sy.
3. Sorry mate, got a quality DI at the moment, thanks for the offer though. From the way things have gone trying to sell the amp, I'm sure It will still be around for a while.
4. I'd take a decent offer for It just now. It's in A1 condition, looked after very well from day 1, and US made. I thought It would sell no probs, after seeing others sell for the same price on here. Some places are looking for nearly a grand for this now.... and They are Vietnam made. A shop in Glagow was looking for £600 for a used one early in the year, and that was a newer one...................... I'll just need keep It on. As I said I'll take a decent offer, or an interesting trade. SSSSSKKKKKKKIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNTTTTTTTTTT
5. Didn't sell on Ebay although there were 12 watchers, and loads of questions regarding It. Have I overpriced this? What do you guys think? or Is everyone just skint like me? Seriously need to shift this quick, selling off other stuff too, to keep the peace in the house. Someone make me a sensible offer please, and It's yours. Pickup prefered. Cheers.
6. I've had a few pm's. My mail account on here doesn't work. [email protected] for any questions, and I'll get straight back to you, Cheers, Sy.
7. £400.............................Need to raise funds quickly for my new rig.
8. Bump. I'll ship now If someone wants to pay for shipping.
9. Anyone? Don't really want to have to Ebay It.
10. I've just found with upright, I needed more power for our loud gigs. Currently using an Iamp800, this does the job with the upright. I've used an Aggy db410, Trace 410, Ampeg 410 now using a GS 412, loud yes, but the Iamp just does the louder upright job better. Sorry man, don't get down South much.
11. Bump £425 for the amp, need to keep the case. Afraid I won't be shipping It due to a recent shipping disaster putting me off! Near to Glasgow If anyone wants to try It out.
12.
......Head still available yes...£375..p/x???
I Don't believe It...........just went and bought one this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Didn't think you still had It, ah well, bump for an amazing amp, at this price you'd be mad not to buy It!
13. Thanks. Also wondered about any big differences in volume between both(the lm11 & 800), cheers. If there wasn't much in It volume wise, I might buy the Markbass, If It is much warmer sounding, sounds right up my street. I hate having to over EQ to get rid of honking mids with my upright.
14. Wondered if anyone had A/B'd the two. Love the Iamp800, I was worried at first It would be sterile, but It's got a solid bottom ed for upright, and the EQ is very useable, just curious if anyone can throw some light on sound differences between the two. I've come across a 2nd hand LM11 for sale and wondered if It would be for me. Playing upright, I like a deep woody scooped tone, old school jazz sound (with some slap thrown in)...............
15. Head still for sale??
16. I use the K&K Rockabilly pickups with a D-tar Solstice preamp. I just find It to be a better preamp than the K&K Rockabilly one for mixing two pickups. Rockabillybass.com is a good place to find the K&K's second hand if you haven't asked on there yet. They're good pickups on one bass, not on my other, I use a Planet Wing bridge pickup mixed with a Schaller oyster under the fingerboard into my Solstice on the other bass. The King Dollhead is worth a look too if you want a bridge and clicky set-up.
17. Yeah, definately want to have a look. Two basses in the house at present, always room for another!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sure my wife will be over the moon. e-mail : [email protected]
18. Hi Deaky, Still got the Kay? Definately interested. I'm in Glasgow, am I far away from you?
19. Bump Tubes all changed, JJ's and Vintage NOS Mullard.
20. If I can shift my Ampeg head, I'll buy the head. I'll Let you know when I do, hopefully you've still got It.
21. I Love plain gut G & D for digging into. The Gotz/Goetz have been about the most consistant for cheaper Guts.
