  1. Yes the thing with amps is they don't take up too much room so they can quietly sit on the shelf for many years unnoticed. That's what's happened with this amp. Cunning!
  2. Thanks mate, I think it was in the £650 bracket, a lot more than current TC electronic prices for the equivalent. I'll be happy if it gets used and if someone can sell it on for a few bob more good luck to them!
  3. I bought this amp very shortly after they first came out. It got gigged for a couple of years before I moved on the GK amps. 450W (800 peak) into 4 ohms. 4 way tone control plus built in compressor and valve emulator which is very good. Pots all work well. They're built like tanks with a very sturdy anodised aluminium frame. As you can see there's a lot of marks on the top surface where I'd stuck some electrical tape to write on current pot settings as a reminder. The adhesive reacted with the anodising it looks a bit rough but its only cosmetic. You don't see many of them for sale so its hard to gauge the price. About £220 on ebay posted so given the very "used" appearance I'm asking £160 posted. I hope the screen shot of the spec page from the manual and the photos give enough information. Let me know if you need more and I'll do my best.
  4. Andres bought a Roscoe from me, no bother at all. Many thanks mate, I hope you enjoy it!
  5. I've been gigging with a midget+super compact and gk mb fusion for some time in a acoustically busy 5 piece RnB band. I couldn't easily find my place in the mix without either being too muddy or interfering with the vocals and other instruments. So i tried a bf 210 which, because of its built in low mid "bump" seemed to fit much better especially with a bf 110 on top. Since then I've got a gk legacy 800 which has a bump switch which works a treat with the 12 inch speakers (sc and midget) which i think are more versatile. I know most amps can be tweaked to give the right EQ but sometimes it's nice to just to get the right sound without the hassle.
  6. I've had this setup for a few years now. It's so versatile. GLWTS
  7. I just sold a zoom R16 to Gerry. Lovely guy to chat with and all communications spot on. Many thanks!
  8. Surprised this is still for sale. I love mine. The bump switch works well with barefaced 12 inch cabs. You can get a more subtle driven sound by backing the gain off, not talked about in the manual.
  9. Graham bought a strap from me. Lovely guy, good comms, many thanks!
  10. Just checked, that works, @therealting that'll take the length down to 39 inches.
  11. I bought this lovely padded strap to see me through a period of shoulder pain. it's adjustable from 43 to 48 inches from hole to hole. Very little signs of use apart from a dent and cut in the leather after removing dunlop straploks. you can see this in the photos. I can put these back on before I send for an extra tenner.
  12. Biggest earner of the year cancelled, as most things are in Wales. A big shame, but probably for the best. The venue's a hotel on the edge of talyllyn lake, fireworks over the water at midnight. Lovely. I hate nye. Gigs make it so much better. Suspect I'll see it in with jools H but have just got a pod go which is taking up more of my brain power than i expected. Hey ho believe me I'm very grateful to be in a warm covid free house this winter!
  13. just traded pedals with Ben. lovely guy to deal with. many thanks!
