  1. Always amazed that the tiny pickup on the mustang can produce so much. Why do other basses have dirty great big things with loads of poles showing?
  2. We gotta get out of this place - the animals- the late Chas Chandler Kyle Eastwood - any of his albums which feature a mixture of fretted and fretless bass and upright bass. Really accomplished player and a good composer.
  3. Too many windings, 3 is enough.
  4. Harvest for the world - Isley Brothers
  5. Yikes, that’s a bit frightening! I don’t like the shaded headstocks, just too much.
  6. Gimme some lovin’ - Spencer Davis Group
  7. Newly acquired as part of a trade, black not usually my first choice, but I rather like this. May be I should put black nylon strings on it and it would become a stealth bass.
  8. Traded my Peerless Bassmaster for Lyle’s Fretless Dean + some cash. Met up and had a nice chat, great bloke to deal with. 👍🏼
  9. Like @Hellzero I looked forward a fretless Ray34 and drew a blank. Looks brilliant, enjoy it.
  10. 20th century blues - Noel Coward
  11. Woking is not so far away, I would be interested in yours, can you send me pictures on a PM and your suggestion for a deal?
  12. Amazed the Shergold is light. The originals in the 70s were boat anchors as I recall.
  13. Was this a factory fretless or a de-fret?
  14. You can have my Peerless Bassmaster for a reasonable price. Best long scale semi hollow out there.
  15. Stingray - sterling variety available as a lefty at a very competitive price.
  16. Purple haze- Jimi Hendrix
  17. Thunder Road - Bruce Springsteen
  18. I suppose you could check the serial number?
  19. Down, down - Status Quo
  20. Mother and child reunion - Paul Simon
  21. Yes it is, Peerless made the Epiphone for years. However I think the tweaks they have made since make it superior.
  22. The wind cries Mary - Jimi Hendrix
  23. Perhaps an acquired taste?
