The shape does suit a bass, presumably short scale? There is something about it that reminds of the Rossetti 7 bass of the 60’s but nothing could be as bad as that bass.

I don’t need 8 basses of any type. I have 5 and that’s too many. When it comes to guitars I have 2 Taylor and a K.Yiari so pretty high end which I consider essential for acoustics.

The market here looks pretty turgid especially since Brexit and a certain short lived P.M. with rather different views of the economy. If you are prepared to travel over , then to bring in an instrument at least avoids the buyer having to pay the VAT and fees. Could be worth a punt putting a bass for sale on here and see how it goes, it won’t cost you a fortune.
I believe there are some good deals on flights from time to time.

I did the tour of the Taylor factory in El Cajun a couple of years ago. Fascinating!
