1. This kind of lazy "promoting" attracts new/young bands. They take advantage and its saddening. BUT, luckily, this kind of thing never lasts
2. 3 year guarantee. I wouldn't touch it personally. But then, I have three.
3. what exactly is nonsense about his statement though? He criticises die hard fans for blindly accepting poor build quality. Surely that is a fair estimation of a die hard fan of any product? Brushing his opinion off as nonsense is only bolstering his argument. 4. Its certainly confusing to be accused of bias, when you made such an objective statement.
5. I haven't gigged mine yet and I will be driving it, I guess I had best get one still. is it 20 or 40-db? Best of luck with the sale, a this price, it will go quickly
6. White cloud, you are right on the money.
7. Howdy. Do you still need the attenuator with the philips tubes?
8. slow and steady wins the race!
9. I won't have more than 2 pints, including water. Mainly so I don't need a slash half way through the set but also so I don't sound even more sh*te than I normally do.
10. Seriously? I imagine they have a rough time, all those concerts, all those screaming kids. Signings, press releases, etc. That I imagine to be tough. BUT, I imagine they get very well looked after, plus, screaming kids and talking about yourself and how wonderful you are is a narcissists dream. they might be loving it and the quote is an OUTRAGE!
11. You're right. It is a moral outrage.
12. Mel is a delight to deal with. Buy with confidence.
13. What about a hand made, British, custom bass for £700? Jon Letts
14.
At least it's got a better cutaway than a lot of basses that have appeared in this thread.
I believe they are called, mightaswellnothaveaway
15. Ah, the Warwick clothes rack. Lay some f***ing beats, whilst drying your smalls.
16.
I've got a gk700rb2 I your interested. http://basschat.co.u...-700rb-ii-l300/
this
17. Hell. Now that is a Fender (albeit part fender) I would want to own. What make is the neck?
18. I have played classical and flamenco for 21 years. I hate long nails and I have never had to rely on them being long to play. They should never been more the 1-2mm higher than the tip of your fingers. That's the advice my instructor gave me and its also the rule that many players go by. Some say longer, but I find it can catch the strings. 1mm length doesn't impede my bass playing and I don't look like a woman or a member of the Adams Family.
19.
is anyone able to bring along an ACG or a Lettsbass? i've got GAS for a custom bass but haven't had a chance to see work from either of these great builders in person. matt
I am bringing my Letts along.
20. Having gone through numerous pairs of headphones and in-ear headphones, I can safely say that the Bose IE2's are fantastic. They don't go in your ear canal, they sit over it. Very comfortable and excellent quality sound and build. I was using Shure in ear headphone but found them to be incredibly uncomfortable and sometimes painful.
21. bored now, but bump.
