Yeah, it's still there for now. I'll be talking to the rep at the Bass show about it if they don't have the model I want actually physically there. We'll see.

Yeah, I also can't "do" Jazz basses. I've played other peoples, I tried an old 70s one, a new one, and American Deluxe, I even owned one once. They just don't suit me.

Are there any rules for these? For example: must contain bass or must only contain bass? Or is is just a free-for-all write something job?

Hopefully they'll have one at the bass show. If not then.... boo...

That is the current plan, look on the marketplace if I don't grab something at the show.. However I've not seen my dream Stingray of the unlined stealth HH fretless appear on here yet. If they have one at the show I might be walking away with it unless something like an ACG changes my mind.

Apologies for the on-purpose bad spelling. The marketplace is full of stingrays 2 weeks before the bass show... And I need to hold on till then and only buy something if I can't find anything there. And I LOVE Stingrays!!!! NNNGGG!!!

These days I'd be up for Band 1. I already have a "primary" band but they don't play much. Plus all the other things I have in my life, the idea of a weekly jam sounds like fun.

People need to realize this stuff isn't sacrilege. First time I heard Imagine Dragons knowing them as a band I thought, "oh, the bank advert band". This has been going on since before I was a kid and to be honest, you could argue the same stuff for sampling in songs. How many people thing of the bassline to "good times" by Chic as "the classic hip hop loop"? Music is music is music is music. Complaining about it changes nothing but your own blood pressure.
