1.
Cheers guys I will invest I am sure , before the due date. I cannot get my head around the midi aspects ATM , sometimes it works sometimes not , these are the type things that frustrate me the most, I know it works becuase I have done it , but there must be a command or channel or a driver or some button that needs switching. I am thinking that the world of Midi is a must with recording , so I will have to get my head around it .
While Reaper is not for me [I tried - but a few things missing for me] I did find this useful Lots of material on Midi in Reaper. Hope it helps. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=working+with+midi+in+reaper&oq=working+with+midi+in+reaper&gs_l=youtube.3...22188.28351.0.28531.27.26.0.1.1.0.83.1850.26.26.0...0.0...1ac.1.Ms8htt_Fx9M Garry

 8. I have done a quite a few over the years - but only in the production shows band. Best bits for me were visiting the great resorts of the world [and meeting my wife - she was a singer/dancer in a show] Worst bits - two to a cabin, hard work when you are trying to get it on with your future wife. Good luck with the auditions, and enjoy it, you can have a great time. Garry

Check it out!! Cheers Dave
Great [piss] take on Hollywood and Broadway. Good stuff. Garry

 17. A top notch FREE Soundfont player. http://www.plogue.com/products/sforzando/ On the right hand side there is also a free pack of sounds as well. Here is a rather large soundfont library [FREE] with a great Orchestral collection for use with the above player. http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1200140 And another FREE Orchestral collection here. http://sso.mattiaswestlund.net/download.html All this stuff is legal and sourced by various folk from free sites from all over the net. If you have never used soundfonts before, it's a good way to get a Orchestral/Cinematic library together, Of course not the quality of the high end Kontact sample libraries, but on par and better than most of the budget sample libs. With the right use of Reverb/Ambience FX, and the right Orchestral panning positions and you are off. [With a knuckle full of notes of course] Enjoy Garry
 18.
Thelma Houston - Don't Leave Me This Way
That and the H & the Blue notes version - they were both out at the same time. On the Thelma H version, sounds like the Bassist is having a right good time playing it. Great tune. Garry

 20.
Harks back to the days when a guitarist had to wallop seven bells out of his instrument to be heard, looks like pre - Les Paul era.
Just found the [Retro Sign] company. Computer Geek is funny. 23.
I did start and then dismissed it as crap
Never dismiss anything as crap - I did, but BrandAlliance TV had other ideas Their sound designer added a bell tree at the intro - and all ended well... Advert the other side of the pond just before this Xmas. Garry
 24.
Hmm, call me a pessimist, but I have a bad feeling about the '2 female singers' thing. Two possibilities spring to mind:

They learn to harmonise together, become best buddies, get fed up with splitting the money so many ways, and leave the band to go and work as a duo with backing tracks.
They become ultra-competitive, argue over who sings what, start to hate one another, and get involved in an on-stage cat-fight at a wedding gig, which ends with them knocking over the 7-tier wedding cake and rolling around on the floor of the marquee.

That's what BJorn said to Benny. Of course Benny thought he was talking Swedish sh*te, and the rest is history.
 25. Fantastic. Making music out of trash, as opposed to music that is trash... Garry
