1. PDF link/download working here. Thanks for that. Garry
2. Such a great tune and arrangement, stonking playing all round and AJ at his best. For some reason i prefer this version to the live version that always does the rounds, and that is pretty amazing. Great post. Garry
3. Sibelius can save as a PDF, as does Finale. And the very good MuseScore Notation software saves as a PDF - And yes its free. http://musescore.org/ Garry
4. Great stuff, thanks for the links. Garry
5.
Compared to Cubase the cut, paste and shuffle around clips is a fragment of urine.
I think you will find that's just one stroke key commands, same as any DAW. With any of these sequencers, just try the Demo's and find what suits your work flow. Garry
6. Was never a Who Fanboi, but for me Entwistle & Moon kind of blossomed on 'Who's Next' Both sound wise and in Musical maturity. In fact the whole album did. The isolated Bass track might not be his best moment, but hard to tell what's going on with the rest of the band not in ear shot. Might all be moving about together and not sounding 'Sloppy'.[or sloppy together] Townsend sure was an interesting writer with plenty of 'Out of the box' ideas. Garry
7. Some great stuff posted in this thread. Carles Benavent is Bassist i like to listen to a lot. His Fretless playing is sublime. A nice track here with Josemi Carmona. 10.
today I passed an audition for a balls-out rock band. YAY! All well and good... but the drummer likes to hit his drums really really hard, and the guitarist has... some serious kit, shall we say. THEY ARE LOUD!
Is it safe to have your Gonads out around loud music ? Garry

15. These companies seem to be knocking prices down at an alarming rate. This one is very good - demo available. http://www.valhalladsp.com/valhallaroom Garry
16. Good stuff, and glad you got the video working. Garry
17. Please, someone follow this up - i did a European tour with a Circus many years ago which was a great experience. This chance would be great fun, a great play, and you will end up with chops like super man. Go for it. I have just linked your post to my Facebook account , i know a few guys who might be up for this. Garry
18.
He certainly would. He's dead.
He just faked his own death, so he could start a heavy Blues band [now in Bath] Garry
19. Indeed, even Jacques Cousteau might have a problem getting to the bottom of this one. Garry
20. I missed that - thanks for posting. Garry

24. When getting excited Jaco would often really dig into the strings, causing really hard note attack. I did see Jaco once, when he used a volume pedal for Upright type Legato [< >] and he often used the volume control[s] on his Bass for this. With a typical gig set up Bass, you could only really use a Bow on Electric with any kind of articulated success, if you were just bowing on the E and G string [four string] And this would have to be somewhere towards the head stock end, the horns and body would be in the way. Because there is no serious bridge arch on Electric, it would be [and is for me] nearly impossible on the inner A & D strings. More than likely some clever geezer/geezeress on Youtube to prove me wrong though. Garry
25.
Two mics on that one.
No - good guess though..................... Roland TR-606 Drumatix. Garry
