  1. They are very efficient and have been for many years. Every quarter, I get my Broadcast royalties paid straight into my bank account. You can check this on the PRS account page. My MCPS payments are also paid directly in on the same day. Although, statements from them, come through the post for some reason. Changing address is easy. They will just need to verify who you are.
  2. 'Prime 8 +' is an 80's Drum Machine module. You will need an iLok account for this one, but if you have, it's a freebie with this code... FREEP8 UVI Prime 8+ - Return of a Legendary '80s Drum Machine
  3. A nice little freebie from 'Soundtoys', called 'Little Radiator'. It's a Tube preamp based on the Altec 1566A. The free code is on the product page: Little Radiator - Soundtoys
  4. Back in the 60's, my mum and dad were always playing the 'Groove Yard' album. My first introductions to Jazz, I suppose. The whole album is worth a listen with some very smooth playing all round.
  5. If it could be united with the Bass, in this particular case, it would be worth a Bean...yes?
  6. Personally, I've always thought of them both being the same thing. A musician who happens to sing or vocalise notes. When talking to other musicians (or non-musicians for that matter), my definition would probably be whatever first came into my mind at that precise time. For instance, when talking to certain musician friends of mine, we would call a singer/vocalist....'a Warbler' (being very vocal), or even a 'songster'. Hayley the Classical Vocalist for Hire - Surrey (warble-entertainment.com)
  7. It's all about opinions, I know. But I agree with those two examples.
  8. A good classical vocalist is usually a good sight-singer.
  9. Still a regular in my house:
  10. I'm not sure if this is version dependent but, if you right click on the tool bar in between two icons, there is a list which you can tick to display/not display items:
  11. Very nice and it looks great. Trigger (R.I.P) would have been very proud of you...
  12. Also, as far as the Midi side of it goes. You might need to engage the 'ASIO Latency Compensation' button(s) at track level, or globally at the top:
  13. First off, that latency setting is very high and would be a problem. You haven't said what your buffer size is on your audio interface. You need to bring the buffer size right down on your audio interface for recording audio (and take it up for mixing). I run mine at 64 buffers playing and recording then move it up to 1024 for mixing etc. Also, you may have to adjust your 'Delay Compensation Threshold' for Midi Instruments. I'm on the current version of Nuendo 12 but, your preferences should still be the same on your version of Cubase (see below). Normally, you can do a loopback to set it accurately. But maybe you can just move the figures by trial and error until you are somewhere close. Of course, it might be something else, but I would start with this for the Midi side of it.
  14. Try this: Bring Up the mixer (F3). On a channel strip there is a button (left side) that is for 'panning disable'. You can toggle this on and off. The right has a dropdown arrow for two types of panning: 1) Stereo combined panner. 2) Stereo Balance panner. To access either, you have to hover the cursor over the corners.
  15. Ronald Bruner Jr. on Drums and Christian McBride on Bass.
  16. The notation app is now free for the various platforms: Notion Mobile | PreSonus
