I just see it for what it is... Just a bit of fun and some 'choppy' messing around. He certainly put some work into it and had a good listen to Purdie's playing. I thought some of the verbal interaction was quite funny.

Nice little bit of Trivia. Last Wednesday, John Taylor celebrated his 100th Birthday. John worked on sound and sound design on a lot of those Gerry Anderson Puppet Show Series, He also owned, along with his wife (who also worked on those TV shows), 'Grosvenor Studios' in the Midlands. That was Noel McCalla...This live video below, he starts singing at around 03:45. Sadly, only Noel and drummer, Neil Wilkinson, are still alive.
