I'm genuinely interested.... not trolling I promise! But why is someone who has never used effects, browsing (and replying) to a fx thread???? I ask because I'm an addict and want to explore strategy on how to get clean. The first step on the road to recovery and all that

does anybody have a solution to insert an effect, lets say chorus, with previously set parameters? effectively changing the initial preset paramaters? thanks

Simple pitch. But agreed, my octamizer is going nowhere either.

Black with gold lettering looks very cool!

Zvex mastotron gets my vote. It's a staple on my board and running into an octave, its fast becoming my signature sound. Until very recently I had 2 on my board.

Make use of that 18v with this! https://www.andertons.co.uk/guitar-dept/guitar-pedals/pedal-power-supplies/truetone-18v-to-9v-adapter-cable The 100ma will step up to 200ma. That's power!

I've previously had success with high pass filters in this scenario. Removing the sub bass frequencies from the signal really helps create headroom for the remaining signal. And if you like a trebble heavy tone, this would be your cheapest option by far. Some heads have a hpf built in tho so check that before you spill any coin.

In short yes. If you have the will to do so, the manta filters can be replaced by the c4. I really like to create sounds on the fly so the manta stays for now, but if your midi enabled and happy to program from the app/computer then your not loosing anything in my opinion.

The C4 is (will be soon) controllable with the SA hub. This also allows it to receive midi clock as well as program changes, cc data ect.

yes the yellow bar represents the pitch. plus or minus 2 octaves. theres some really usefull presets too. 16 steps is the maximum.

its just as accessible as all the other paramaters in the c4. My lack of free time has no effect on the C4s performance whatsoever!
