I know everybody likes a moan now and then, but seriously!!! Even if the present sounds aren't to your taste, There are hundreds maybe thousands of user published patches out there on the net so do yourself a favour and audition some, find some you DO like....Then load them into your unit.

It was this demo that highlighted it. 1.40 ish. He isn't playing hard, but the B string just doesn't have the piano like tone of the rest of the strings.

i went down that road once. couldnt get on with it at all. had sto send my Jake 5 back just been listeneng to some ibby sr2405 5 demos and the B string i really think would be an issue for me. they sound flabby. nothing like the rest of the strings.

i love the look of the ibbys but there string spacing is way to tight for me! anything with 19mm at the bridge?

does anybody have a solution to insert an effect, lets say chorus, with previously set parameters? effectively changing the initial preset paramaters? thanks

Zvex mastotron gets my vote. It's a staple on my board and running into an octave, its fast becoming my signature sound. Until very recently I had 2 on my board.
