  1. i wasn't aware that a plek machine could machine a nut? which is effectively what a zero fret is.... all the videos i've seen have always left the nut ajustments up to the operator
  2. Both mine had grooves in the zero fret where they are filed to set the string height.
  3. firmware yes.... editor no. although the editor has been updated.... i dont beleive its the final version that @Quatschmacher is developing patches for. Q can you confirm?
  4. .... and it is good. tracking is definitely improved on my setup

Love the blue, but the blonde block inlays look a bit like rotten teeth
  7. the octave side alone is fantastic! the fuzz is very mastotron like. i love these!

  11. I urge you to re- read the title of this thread.
  12. i'd just like to say that both my Sandys have had delanos, and they certainly haven't been left wanting in the tone department. Horses for courses.
  13. maybe soft touch. definitely not normal types tho... this is all future development. first things first
  14. Yes. It will be able to control anything that "turns". Eventually may be able to flick switches aswell, but that's not in the scope for the prototype.
  15. Musik Productive is cheaper. LOADS of sock too.... https://m.musik-produktiv.com/gb/sandberg-california-vm5-rw-nat.html
  16. I already have thaught about this alot. And Im pretty sure I have a solution too. I'd be interested to hear your ideas tho.... They might be easier than mine
  17. Thanks. I will shoot you a pm tomorrow with some qs. I'm personally concerned with the mechanical design aspect of it at the moment. How it will be used will be electronic and software development that will come a bit later. I'm thinking it will work a bit like the SA neuro hub. Set the dials then hold a button to save a set of values on the midi chanel that was last selected. But first the mechanics have to work.
  18. Yes I suppose it would be like that. Just smaller and universal so it can controll any pot.
  19. for the prototype i've been looking at arduino, as that seems to be easily accessible, but i doubt that will be the choice for the end product.
  20. If anybody has some programming skills and would like to come onboard with a project like this then id welcome a partnership. I have all the mechanicals down, but the programming is beyond me. PM me if your interested.
  21. i think it will be most useful on a loop switcher based rig for fully automated preset control. but it would still useful without one, the user would just still have to switch the pedals on and off.
