  1. somebody asked on the facebook page about the envelope detection circuit and the response was..."The entire circuit is redesigned....it's still an optical filter like the Wonderlove but it has lower noise, the detector follows your playing in a more musical way, the build quality is better, and the expression pedal input has been redesigned to have a much smoother sweep."
  2. I can confirm...... Fake. Well of corse! I wanted some new elixirs anyway, so got a genuine set from a trusted seller... But couldn't resist a punt for £7 on wish. Both arived today but the ones from wish aren't even coated. I'm sure somone could make use of them tho! But I doubt I'll fit them. Postage only offers by Pm
  3. Yes I love the look of that!!! Might treat myself
  4. I may be wrong here but I think Brightonion do a feedback loop pedal. My understanding is that it can make any pedal self oscillate (squeel like a pig)
  5. i meant for a pedalboard.... my Fuel tank jr only puts out 600mA TOTAL!!
  6. Had to check that out.... 7 isolated DC-outlets, 6W each (660mA at 9V DC each). That's alot of amperage!!!!

    BOSS RV-3

I have a hardwire reverb. Tried to sell it on here not long ago and couldn't shift it. Decided to keep it a dim glad I did. The lexicon reverbs in it sound excellent on acoustic guitar.
  8. I've had my helix HX now for a few months. I never found a filter I liked. That's why I kept my manta and BEF on the board. I will look at the settings above with interest tho! Thanks
  9. Only 1 FX pedal. that's just wrong!
  10. Just weighed on the bathroom scales at 4.6kg
  11. Yeah i must be crazy! i spent ages looking for this instrument. Its a sad day
  12. Up for sale is my gorgeous Sandberg california VM5 in a stunning custom Surf green. Made in 2005 with an Alder body, this bass plays just lovely. Boasting a new and recently fitted 2 band Glockenklang preamp alongside the delano pups which sounds superb! Passive tones available with a pull on the volume knob. Tryouts are welcome (and encouraged) in shoreham by sea, and i do travel for work so let me know where you are if your interested. The string spacing at the bridge can be adjusted between 18 - 19.5mm & the nut width is 45mm 2 small lacquer ships to the body cant be seen from the front. comes with gear4music bass gig bag in good condition. More pics to follow. £950 (no trades sorry)
  13. I hate to say it but I wasn't really as impressed with them this time round... Obviously the mucicianship and individual performances were second to none, but its the same show year on year... Support from joey, Cory wong in the crowd, Jacks handstand ending etc. ... Apart from the 3 new songs in the set... The "show"was the same as it was last year. The venue sounded terrible in my opinion. Even Jack Stratton mentioned that it was like playing in a cave. I was left a bit cold this time I don't think I'll see them again.
  14. Yes. The lack of fx loops on the stomp is a dealbreaker for me. As would be the lack of scenes which has become a staple in my work flow now. Other than the color screen which is nice, i can't see any advantages for my rig as I wouldn't use the amps/cabs. My hxfx I'd the controller/hub for my whole pedal board... The stomp just can't do that.
  15. @Quatschmacher you are a genius and a gentleman!! I look forward to diving into this when I get a chance
  16. i haddnt heard of this band, when i checked them out i really liked them!....... until i found this... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5MXlAAsRVY Now i absolutely LOVE them!!!!!! thanks
  17. I check the monster thread by a similar title on a daily basis for new music that i haven't discovered yet.... This is a thread in a similar vein, hoping to find "NEW" music recently recorded or live on a stage from the last decade or so, preferably still gigging bands that we can go and watch live. Ill kick things off with my favourite current band...... introducing.... ......The Motet and more....
