Got these from bass direct, fitted to my elite fender jazz for about 2 hours playing, then removed. Just not for me on that bass. (45/65/85/105/128) Since the Fifties and Sixties, La Bella's DEEP TALKIN'BASS Flat Wound Stainless Steel strings have been the first choice by many professional bass players.
