2.
So he asked you to move your car?
yes
Wilco, I would say you were given some very good advice. If I was asked to move my car because it was blocking someone or something. . . I'd move it! Why would that be such a problem? Why would you try to make something out of it on the internet? ??
not trying to make anything. im simply sharing my experience of the place that has led me to stop shopping there. I thaught that was one of the purposes of Forums? sharing experiences? i wasn't blocking anything. he just felt his need for the last remaining space was greater than mine.
 3. i have this cab and it can push a serious amount of air!!! i played a meatbox at gigging volume through it for many gigs with no problems. if i had a need, or the space, id take it. GLWTS
 4. i visited a few months ago. When i arrived it was just Marcus and I was playing a fretless MTD that i fully intended to buy. Mark turned up to the shop 15 minutes later and asked everybody in the shop whos the car was parked outside. when i told him it was mine, he asked me to move it as there were no more spaces close-by. i think he had something heavy to bring into the store. seriously, do you really ask a customer to leave the store so you can park your car? i told him that i would be leaving in 5 minutes if he could wait that long? i sat stewing on it feeling uncomfortable, and left in plenty of time. not only did he loose a sale, but probably my custom for good.
 5. interesting.... part of the deal if you want to try it out pre sale, is to bring a coax cable. i guess so he can watch TV whilst you try the guitar????

 18.
Adding the import and vat takes that to about £172. Then another £8 or £13 for the handling charge at this end = £180 Thomann have them for £169 ( 192 Euro) - need another 8 euro for free shipping. If you don't get pinged for the tax then all is good - but if not, there's no advantage. I'd be worried about the warranty position - having to send it back to NZ would be expensive.
The thomann unit is b-stock. Only 1 available. I never ordered anything from overseas so it will be a cheap learning experience if nothing else. I'll keep you updated on the import charges as I get them in case your interested.
 19. This won't last long...
 20. Just got myself a Zeus for £138 shipped!!! Thanks for the heads up, I can't imagine they will last long
