1. the dry signal (ring) goes through my entire board, and the wet (tip) is fed to the end
2.
Maybe, but who'd notice in a live situation ? I'd still rather have the versatility. I like being able to have 7 or 8 reverb sounds that I can just recall instantly, and switch between in the same piece.
how do you switch? and what do you run the software on? most of my dedals are digital, and i never notice any lack of realism. so im interested.
3. you should look at the source audio dimension reverb. if you can get over the size, and its ugly.... it is a fantatsic reverb with loads of great sounding engines. gives you 2 presets too i had one, and sold it. but i miss it bad!, im looking for a 2nd hand one now
4. i just contacted him via ebay and he just sent me some audio clips of the bass being played..... interesting to say the least
5.
I do like the small footprint, although I would think there might be cheaper options for an active signal splitter? Is there any way I can find out whether my pedals switch phase?
you could do this quite easily with any DAW and a sound card that has ins and outs. simply play a percussive sample through the pedal and record it on the way back in. if the direction of the transient changed, then the phase is inverted.
6. i had the same resistance or a long time. Finally gave in a few months ago an now cant gig without it. I put my meatbox first in my chain. the dry signal (ring) goes through my entire board, and the wet (tip) is fed to the end where I blend it with the dry affected signal with an LS-2. The unexpected benefit of this is that when you turn the meatbox off with the ls-2 still engaged, what was the sub signal becomes a clean blend My Eden rig can handle the lows no problem
7. Hi, Im selling my practically brand new Sub n Up Its great - Its just not really what i was looking for. I was hoping it would push the meatbox off the board whilst giving me some usable "up" tones at the same time. Whereas the up tones are very usable, it just cant do meatbox. The chorus and flange nearly made me keep it tho Its only a few months old. Boxed as new. £85 +postage pics available on request
8. Si just bought a pedal from me. Open comms, prompt payment, just the way it should be when selling gear online. Top bloke!
9. Virtually brand new. Great delay but I realise that delay is just not really my thing. Boxed with manuals. 200 posted 1St class Pics on request.
10. that, is a fantastic article. Thanks
11. I researched this same thing for a few months.... I settled in a behringer bdi21 into a kam 15inch battery pa speaker. It's loud. Lasts ages and sounds reasonable I shopped around and got it all for less than 200 nuggets
12. Anybody seen any good demos of it with bass? mine still hasn't arrived and im itching to hear some demos to satisfy my cravings
13. i lust picked one up on ebay for a steal!
14.
I know theres something for everyone, but personally, a stereo bass rig would either get laughed at by the FOH and the band. Apart from being in a large and I do mean large touring environment I have never ever seen the need or requirement for a stereo bass signal.
without sounding arsey... thats exactly my point! so why do pedal manufacturers put so much effort into developing stereo pedals?
15. I've got a number of stereo effects pedals on my board, but ive never once used their stereo capabilities. Im sure that when the stereo outputs are used they make a lovely wide noise when monitoring through headphones or nearfeilds, or even FOH.... But what use, if any, do they have for those of us who play through a single amp with only one input?
16. I got a comfort strapp from Bass Direct. Never gonna look for another strap ever again! If this one wears out or is lost, ill just buy another one. It distributes the weight very well, and it has a little give in it which gives he bass the illusion of being lighter
17. I purchased a DOD meatbox from harry. Arrived promptly and well packaged. Great comms. Cheers
18. mine arrived a few days ago i have never purchased a pedal that i have been entirely happy with I would probably call it my first bass pedal to actually exceed expectations Tracking is largely faultless, and the footprint is smaller than expected. It sounds INSANE through the meatbox! well done Panda audio!
