Got a 2002 Mexican fender active deluxe jazz bass for sale but no interest yet, but tempted to keep it and make it passive. BUT the Jack input is on the edge of the bass..not the control plate. So can you get a control plate without the Jack input?

I'd like to know more too, also..if ideas to do it..what bridge would you recommend? I use a badass bridge 2 on my jazz but it's not strung through.

Haha nice one. It's either that or I need another badass bridge ii to fit on it.

Hi guys, just bought a 2017 fender precision bass noir. Not tried it yet, but was wondering if there were any bridges where I could make it "string through"? Was gonna add ferruls to it. Any help would be great. Cheers
