2. If the labels are paper based, go to a stationers and ask for some label remover. Soak them in this for five minutes, and peel off. Vinyl stickers, you're stuffed!!!

4. Looks like one of the 70's Mexican reissues, with a pearl scratchplate.
5.
Thanks paul_5! The Behringer looks pretty sweet for £32 (on amazon)! It's not actually valve though, it's emulated...?
The Behringer is emulated. Does a good job as well.

10. Colour me interested. I'm in Brum... depends on dates as well.
11. Would you be interested in selling the snare seperately? Our drummer may be interested.
12. I'd go for the shallow base option. The amp will still be coupled to the floor via the casters. Saves a lift as well. If you need to raise the combo, you can still put it on the top half of the flight case.
13. Had one of these in the mid eighties. Actually a very good bass. Heavy as a heavy thing, but good quality, and sounded good enough for the money. This may have been de-fretted as i've never seen a fretless one. Worth a punt for £50, I think.
14. Kramer Striker, just like this one http://www.gak.co.uk/en/kramer-striker-422s/24678
15. Pardon my ignorance.... what's the thumb thingy?
16. First or second ever gig on bass.... POS precision copy, fifth hand strings, first song in, big E chord across all four strings, next moment no strings. No back up bass or spare strings. I doo-wopped the bass lines for the rest of the gig........

24.
Hey guys, I'd love to come. Is it far from New Street train station? I think I'd only be able to bring one bass with me as I'd be getting the train.
It's a twenty-ish minute walk from New St. Five minutes or so by taxi.
