6.
Ditto.....and I used to live in Birmingham, must be a connection. My main quirk is using my little finger far too much on my fretting hand, or is that just crappy, lazy technique?
It must be "in the water"...............
7. If the music is too loud on stage, it affects my balance, and i can be seen wandering/ falling off the side on a regular basis. I now where ear plugs

10. I use .105 as standard for drop D. How about using a Hipshot D-Tuner?
11. If you're ever near Birmingham, you can try my Dean Pace.

15.
+1 Tony's a great player. Always loved Big Country. He's one of those bassists who's got such a signature style and sound. One of those "do exactly what the song needs" players. Check the wholly appropriate bass solo at 4:34. That's the way to do it. Think I'm wearing my kilt at the gig on Saturday.... T
He's nicked my bass solo....................
16. Buy a drum machine and programme some simple beats into it. Great practice tool.
17. Protec Contego. Rigid sides, front and back, plenty of padding, good storage space and decent handles and shoulder straps. I like mine a lot too .
18. If you can find an Ibanez Phat-Hed PD7 pedal, I reckon you'll get a close sound to what you want.
19. Welcome from a fellow heavy lefty

22.
Looks like i've scored a major owngoal ! I can't make it - am away with the wife for the weekend, I even knew about it before suggesting the 27th but didn't think about it as it was so far ahead ! Sunday the 3rd Dec anyone ?! 23. Used an EBS Drome combo last night at rehearsal last, as all the usual Ampeg/Ashdown stacks were all out on hire... and all i can say is, WOW!!! The sound quality and volume off this 1x12" combo was amazing. I was suprised to find out it was only 150w, but handled itself against two guitarists and a loud drummer admirably with no farting, wheezing etc. May have to invest
