1. I had the "sacked by e-mail" thing earlier this year. It trully sucks that they couldn't do it to your face and give some practical reasons, and not some half-arsed explanations. Keep playing, placing ads, looking for bands etc. Something will crop up. Good luck.
2. Have a butchers at the EH Nano Bassballs.
3. If you've got a Sandberg dealer near you, have a chat with them. Not seen a 24 fret neck, but you never know....
4. Looking at maybe parting with this Kramer Stryker. Dunno much about it to be honest... Black sparkle finish, passive electronics, volume- tone-pick up pan- coil tap. Dual humbuckers, i'm guessing!!! 24 fret rosewood neck.
5.
Love that Kramer, lefty love.
Oh yes.... she maybe up for sale in a while. Not much use!!!
6.
What's second from the left?
That is a Thumb built by John Diggins...... At the time(93) Warwicks were well out of my league. So as i was working at Musical Exchanges, i got John to build me copy. Mahogany body, maple/walnut laminate neck with an ebony board with smiley face fret inlays. Seymour MM and MEC jazz.
7.
Why 2 threads?
my laptop is ancient and wouldn't let me upload more than four pics at a time.
8. Welcome.
9. The Fenders are in storage at the mo. If i can get in with a camera, i'll post some!!
10. Not sure which order they'll come in!!!
11. Here's part one of the collection. Stingray/Sandberg/Sandberg
12. I've had one for a while. In my experience, you need to push it all the way down. There is a little spring like tension in mine, but i always move it without relying on the springyness.
13. G'day to the ERB player
14. Up for grabs is my Yamaha NE-1 EQ pedal. Used maybe twice, and not in the past five years. So still in good condition, with a couple of marks on the base Unfortunately it has no box or manual, which is how i got it. Not really interested in cash, but will trade for a couple of sets of D'addario Pro Steel strings, .45-.105. If anyone's interested, PM me!!! Cheers, Nige
15. Luckily we got good pics done recently. With a promo cd would you recommend a printed cd in a cardboard sleeve or would people expect the proper release in a jewel case? Personally, i'd get a few printed cd's done with three or four tracks in a jewel case with a two page cover.
16. You should some decent band pix, a biog that doesn't waffle, but gives all the facts. Decent quality recordings in a good packaging is always essential. AND always include contact numbers and a guide gig list.
17. I'd suggest, as you've mentioned, moving your anchor point back towards the pick-up, using it as an anchor. I think maybe your arm will be a bit straighter, which may help lessen the tension in your hand/fingers. Maybe lowering the strap as well a touch may help.
18. Try the Carvin site.
19. Fluffy Pup and So What at a family car rally..................
20. Dunno if it counts, but any Sam Cooke.
21. Bonjour, ca va?
22. My advice would be to get a Steinberger Spirit bass that comes with a gigbag and use that.
23. Playing EUB for a Northumbrian folk band, now sadly defunct.
24. No, cuz it's an OLP. Unless it goes for pennies. He's listing it as an Ernie Ball which may get the listing pulled.
