1. We've had one in the shop (PMT, Brum) for about a week. Sounds immense through a valve guitar rig, or a big bass stack. Unfortunately, I can't play it being left handed......
2. Acoustic 361, with the 360 preamp/head
3. Line 6 ld110 combo
4. Could be Status strings
5. Looking forward to seeing the rest of this... I had John Diggins build me a thumb copy back in the mid nineties, which I still have. Unfortunately, first off he made it backwards (I'm left handed), then it took six months of pestering to get him to finish it off
6. There was a big thread over on Talkbass about these a while ago. They are made by a Chinese company. They were showing them at one of the trade shows when they where "confronted" by Jens Ritter himself. It's on Youtube
7. Quick term fix... try putting some blu-tac by the bridge/body where it buzzes/vibrates. Might help by damping.
8. If the weather improves, I may trundle on down.....
9. Welcome to the forum....
10. Thinking I'd missed the "magic", I went back for a second listen......... *grits teeth*
11. Sounds like Clutterbuck at the Bass Show.............

15. if you want to pay £250 for what looks like a re-badged Hohner, feel free
16. You'll need to check the specifications of the amp itself first. Some will run on dual voltage with a small switch on the back, to change over the voltage. If the amp doesn't have one of these, you'll need a step down transformer to lower the voltage to 110v. Hope this helps
17. Bump..........
18.
Do you mean the scratchplate / body colour ? You could alway's paint it
I'm left handed.........

21. Any risk of feedback that close to a microphone?
22. There's a huge gap in the neck pocket on the E side..............
23. Mate you're never too old!!! No age range.... I'm 47, the drummer is early thirties. Rest of the band is 50-ish. Multiple bands shouldn't be a problem, I've been in four bands at the same time, just keep a good diary . Rehearsals, usually thursday nights. Don't worry about five strings, mate, I use a precision to good effect. Go for it!!! Nige
24. As I'm giving up live music next year, my band Heartbreaker, require a new bass player. We currently play two sets. The first is based largely on Free, and the second more Bad Co, and Queen. The band is based in the West Mids, rehearsals are weekly at Robannas. The current lineup has been together for three years and have played many venues up and down the country, with gigs for next year already being booked. Anyone interested can contact Kev, the singer on 0775 2064010. Tell him Nige put you on to him. Or, you can PM me on here. Here's a link to the bands' website. It has some recordings on which will give an idea of the band. http://heartbreakerp...stribute.co.uk/ Nige Position filled....
