Amp help

Ashdowns offer good power/cost ratio. Also some people are subjective about the "Ashdown " sound. I've used Ashdown Mag series stuff for five years and loved it. Still got an Ashdown rig, but keep it for rehearsals. What music are you playing? As i find it's best used in the rock genre.
2. Firewood.............
3. depends how deep the neck pocket on the body is and how long the heel of the neck is. Precision type four bolt..... Extended, six bolt. Just my opinion!
4. The seller says they bought it for the colour............................
5. Only just seen this thread. I thought it said "what kind of strap-on do you use?" ............. Mind in the gutter? Or just generally not paying attention?
6. If you're running two 8 ohm cabs from your head, the total impedance is 4 ohms. If your head is 300w at 4 ohms you'll be ok . The only thing you'll have to worry about is the power handling of your cabs. But from what you've got at the minute it's all hunky dory!! I've had an Ashdown mag300 head and run it into two 8 ohm cabs and personally it sounded great.
7. Don't worry about it. I never do a solo when introduced. Just step forward, continue to play the riff and grin like a mad cheshire cat.................
8. Lemmy and Fast Eddie.
9. Everclear... Slow Motion Daydream
10. Check out a band called EVERCLEAR. Three piece band, ace songs.
11. Sweet......
12. Glad to know i'm not alone in this.....
13. Just mooching on eb@y and found a bass uglier than a Bongo. Can't open a link but if you search "2009 Prestige Wylde Thing Active Bass Guitar", you'll see what i mean!!!
14. Lint free cloth is designed not to give off bits when worked or rubbed against a surface. Have a word with a local guitar tech. He should be able to supply you some. Plus i wouldn't advise using lighter fuel.... The wood will absorb some and as it's flammable........
15. Can i have the green burst lefty, please????
16. The best way to clean your fret board is with a lint free cloth and lemon oil You can get it at most guitar shops. As for the strings, you can get Ernie ball string wipes. Expensive but they work!! Also you can boil them for a few minutes, which gives them a bit longer life.
17. Looking to off load an old, dare i say "vintage" EBS unichorus combined chorus flanger. This is one of the old grey ones with a left hand input. Had it about ten years or so..... Want £40 ono or a trade for something like an envelope filter.
18. +3 for the Sandbergs. I own California JM and JJ's. Fantastic things, they are........
19. Stu, good look with the book. Look forward to reading/playing it....
20. Does any body really care?
21. The price is making me sweat..........
22.
Until the soundman mic's up the wrong cab...
23. The Mesa Walkabout sounds fantastic, and it has enough power for most gigs. The price over here is extortionate, so try/buy one in the States. Check the voltage capability as well!!!
24. Even with all those cabs, plus my head in a flightcase.... It'll still be lighter than your behemoth
25. I'll only use the two at any on time. Keep the others as spares or stage fillers for larger stages!!!! By the way i use a 90's Marshall DBS400 head....
