2. Trial and error with the EQ. Start flat and in turn see what each control adds/subtracts from the sound, then build from there what you want more/less of.
 3.
Yeah ok that is crap...I question the pickup and the cheap tuners...I HATE those ones that look decent from the peg head...but behind they are the cheap oblong cased version...WHich, BTW are actually held on with 2 screws not 4, 2 are dummies...go ahead, unscrew some and have a look...CHEEEEEEEAP!!!
Just thought I'd add that mine are held on by 4 screws cheers

 5.
For what it's worth I've got mine in bits infront of me and I can't see a serial number anywhere.
I know, there are no pots to look for dates/markings on Have you noticed any dates on the sliders?
 6.
I've done very loud gigs with 300 watts so I think your speakers are the problem. I'd forget home built cabs, save up another £100 and get a Barefaced Compact.
I don't think there is anything wrong with a well-researched and designed homemade cab. Take the barefaced compact for example
 7.
I got quite excited excited when I saw the title... unfortunately you are not regailing us with tales of how you romanced your favourite effects pedal, fish dinner, wine and all!
Nope, she was otherwise engaged with a big muff
 8. It takes a 24V power supply and has a wooden box.
 9. I can't find one
 10. Is there any resource online where I can find out what year my EHX bass micro synth pedal was made in? Cheers
 11. Anyone got a scan? I'm not buying an overpriced magazine just to look at an advert
 12.
You've got an *input* jack on your bass.... Oooh... what does it do?
+1
 13.
I had a quote from a local luthier to put a new fingerboard on a neck. Basically it came to around £150. You could shift the bridge and get a neck/fretboard that was spaced for a 36" scale. Just a thought!! Dan
Don't know about you, but I don't have 2 extra inches of body behind the bridge to shift it to...
 14. Worth mentioning that customs use their own exchange rate too... I bought my Pedulla when the rate was more than $2 to £1 yet they used something like $1.85.
 15.
How would a real one get worn under the control plate?
And no thumb wear at the tops of the pickups.
 16. He's talking about the amp having this ultimate pure tone and "unsquashed" electrons but using a massive digital rack in front of it...
 17. For more zing go for stainless steel strings Rotosound are pretty good although a bit rough if you're not used to them, Elites are nice.
 18. I sent my (amp) head off and it was serviced and returned in a week. Good that you can call up and speak to them directly rather than a premium rate call centre too
 19.
Say you have a Eden WT550 (500watts @ 4ohms/ 750 @ 2ohms) and you have a Schroeder 1212L (800watts 4ohms), could you essentially add another 1212L (4 ohms) and have a 750watt monster sound from a reasonably compact rig?
Yes
 20.
Agreed! Is yours the 4 ohm model as well...I may have already asked though, sorry!
4ohm model yes
 21. I think a pair of 1212 or 1210 would be unfeasibly loud
 22. The central wire (surrounded by clear plastic) is the hot one and the bare outer wire which surrounds this is the ground.
 23.
Anyway - £200 for this is CRAZY. I'd snap his hand off.. if I didn't have one already .
+1, one of these finished on eBay last week for £300. I think we need an "ABM wideboy" club
