2. xmas decorations and spiders.
 3. Pedulla Rapture J2
 4.
I was told once that if you tried to do that and the router bit touched the trussrod, it could shatter and have your eye out in a twinkling. Just saying.....
Aye, not just your eyes - shards of hot metal at 25000rpm will hurt wherever they get you
 5. Or go out and test out as much gear as you can
 6.
Why not? It'll show us a side of him we've never really seen and may earn him some more respect.
+1 versatility, rather than click clack pop at a million miles per hour.
 7.
He has the most awesome slap technique on the planet, so why not show it off once in a while?
Debatable, and the key point here being "once in a while" not every time he picks up a bass...
 8.
That depends on where I'm playing. Most of the time like, between quarter to and half past, if that makes sense.
Not really, as a "half past" position is not possible on the control Try setting the input a little higher, use your ears not the VU. It may sound crap but worth a go.
 9.
Whatttt?
OK... Rephrase: How high do you set the input volume (preamp control)
 10. How far are you pushing the preamp?
 11.
I'm thinking of having mine serviced before I start gigging again - do Ashdown have a standard charge for a service? Anyone care to divulge said charge?
Didn't cost me anything except postage, but it was only little things like a loose valve and transformer that needed looking at.
 12. ABM 300 EVOII here (built Dec 2005), only issues I've had are general wear and tear from gigging (recently sent to Ashdown for a service and was sorted within 10 days). Extremely reliable and LOUD! As has already been said - fat vintage tones
 13. I will teach you in exchange for your Porsche
 14. Ended on £485, gone to anyone here?
 15. I'm self taught because I put the effort in and got good fast
 16. A "build process" section showing a cab from bits of wood to finished product. More pictures, a gallery section maybe. Cabinet specs (not going into this again though )
 17. I like tuning to slightly lower pitch (like setting the tuner to 235Hz) makes so much difference tonally IMO, the band were never keen to try it though
 18. BAII surplus to requirements, direct replacement for Fender 5 screw bridges. Very good condition with screws and allen key. As this has been on a bass the string slots are cut, the E string saddle has been cut slightly deeper to enable lower action. Looking for £32 posted

 20.
I have an ashdown Evo III, and on the new EVO IVs they have a foot controller for the sub-harmonics, EQ, etc. and I would definitely use it if I had a foot controller as when ever I'm doing somehing melodic ina breakdown high up the neck, it sounds really nice, but down in the first octave of a 4-string it sounds muddy
RTFM
 21.
I find some of the apparently uniformed negative comments re the LM II a bit narrow and perhaps 'anti' for the sake of it.
Bit like people slagging off Ashdown in every other thread
 22.
Gene Hunt in Ashes to Ashes just bought a double whisky for fifty pence.
Finding a suspect because of it - and they say alcohol is bad for you
 23.
ah haha ive posted 2, theres the 'im gunna nut you' one and the 'zombie' one Z x
The first one Zombie one reminds me to find my old film photos out the loft, esp the gig when the singer vomited all over himself onstage
 24. 4 hours is excessive IMO
 25.
lol! Which pic? My display pic at the side??
The one earlier in the thread.
