3.
Is he coming to sort out all those people that hate him or something?
Probably to tell people he is always right, to use his custom electric bass and to bitch about metronomes and tuners
 4.
What impedances can it do? Very interested if you'll let me courier it.
From the picture of the back of the amp - switchable between 3.75, 7.5 and 15ohm
 5.
I would give the Wizard guy a call,at least he can give you free advice,i doubt his pickups would be as expensive either, even if it was a special job.
I asked about a custom precision pickup - nothing fancy just with bigger pole pieces = £120
 6. Thinking about a 350 as a backup/lightweight gig option. Initial reviews sound promising... Looks like all the critics on here were a bit off the mark
 7. Take apart an old BT telephone and use the receiver
 8. The album "Liar" by The Jesus Lizard.
 9. That's a lot of tension to put on a Jazz neck (going by your avatar). Personally I wouldn't go heavier than 50 for a G and 115 for the E.

 14. I bump and delete previous bumps (after about 24-48 hours) to get back above all the "SOLD" threads that are in there.
 15. I'm considering a Schroeder cab, and have narrowed it down to the 1212 or 1210. Can anyone comment on the differences between the two? Is there any advantage in the angled 10" speaker over the 12"? Cheers

 21. Indeed, you just can't get that sound on Chelsea Dagger without a pick
 22.
I've never understood the logic behind Ashdown putting eq sliders and rotary knobs together- ie. a rotary knob for the lowest frequency, then 2 sliders, then a mid knob, then 2 sliders, then a highs knob. it just makes it a drag to find a workable sound in a rehearsal studio. dunno what the fuss about Darkstar pickups was either. I suppose they look quite cool.
If you leave the sliders flat, you're left with a simple bass-mid-treble 3-band EQ. To find a workable sound: Same as any other EQ - change the settings to suit? Which one do you find difficult - the knobs or sliders? They both do the same job
