1. I'd have used screws anyway, that way you're not drilling right through the walls and potentially getting air leaks. It'll also be easier to permanently remove the castors without the need to fill bolt holes to seal the cab again. Too late by the sounds of it
 2.
my opinion is on ashdown gear . if its older gear it is uk built which was exspensive to buy new and is a lot better than prc made so anyone who is into ashdown gear will buy /sell at a price they now they could get or are prepared to pay.i would pay £400 for uk built 4years old than i would £500 new made in prc for example.same with ampeg, peavey etc.mainly applies to heads and combo's.
+1, £400 isn't bad. The BIN however is optimistic to say the least
Dude, some punctuation and a nod toward standard English syntax would be much appreciated. That post is utter garbage.
And your post is utterly irrelevant, GTFO.
 3. Any reason why no students?
 4.
Yep! This saved my bacon when I rounded a silly small sized allen bolt that was impossible to cut a slot into due to its location. Bang bang, job done.
I was joking, but kudos
 5. A 6mm and a hammer
 6. They were selling for about £750 new a few years ago
 7. I think all the Ric's (orig + copies) are up in price atm due to Rickenbacker not meeting unusually high demand or something along those lines. Music Ground (Oxford Road) have/had a 4003 (I think) priced at £1700
 8. I use decent Levy's ones
 9. Racing stripes?
 10. Don't expect to find anything in Chester or Warrington, check out the Manchester stores mentioned.
 11. Hey dude I'll take the two Japanese tuners, can you PM the price + your paypal address and I'll send through the money
 12. Hi, do you have any pics? Cheers
 13. How much for the head?
 14. Some short self-tapping screws should do the trick. Try your local hardware store, and get ones with a flange head ()
 15. +1, mega output from the Thumper. Plenty of bass and mids
 16.
i've got a uk built evo11 but theres just something about the look of a klystron amp and the cabs, imo of course!
The 500 head looks nice, but the 1000 looks too big IMO. And I'm not a big fan on the styling of the new cabs. The combos do look very very nice though
 17.
wonder if they are gonna stop making the klystron range?hope not as i would buy those instead of the valve head and the usa cabs !
TBH I'd rather have the UK-built ABM EVO II than the new Klystron or EVO III heads.
 18. Bump
 19.
That is *the tits*. Where did you get the grille?
Cheers Already had the grille in the garage off an old bass cab.
that is a steal, hmmm i may just be tempted. where did you get the wood from again?
Got the wood from B&Q, they do 6'x2' or 8'x4' sheets of 12mm ply. Check them well and make sure they're decent pieces. They'll also cut the sheets to the size you want. I got the bracing there too, 18mmx20mm planed hardwood in 2.4m lengths.
 20.
not to shabby! wish I had the space and tools to do work like that, definately great value for money
You only need a few tools - a drill, screwdriver and router (or jigsaw) pretty much covers it.
 21.
Very tidy!! If it sounds half as good as it looks, watch out cab manufacturers everywhere!!!!! Well done that man!
Cheers, compared to the ABM the mids and highs are a bit clearer. I don't know if that's because the ABM has more bass response, or if this has less
MB1. Very Professional sir! are the red and green ones prototypes?
Yep but the binman keeps moving them every fortnight
nice, how much did that cost you all and all?
£63.24 for everything except the speakers and a few parts.
 22.
I just can't see another reason for introducing a line of backbreakingly heavy amps and cabs when everyone else is going smaller and lighter. I wonder how they are different from the ABM range.
After the Superfly series and the current delay of the Little Giant amps, I can. Which manufacturer is making small, lightweight, 400W, all-valve heads?
 23.
Fairy nuff. You'd think they'd take 'Made in the PRC' off the illustration on their site though, wouldn't you? Ashdown. Crazy guys.
Yeah I don't understand that. Bit like everywhere advertising their 300W heads as 307W
 24.
£1600 for an amp made in China by a company with a reputation for building flaky amps?
It's built in the USA.
Isn't it just a valve power section too?
It has a 12AX7 preamp.
 25. f***, a grand would be pushing it...
