The power gets split between the 6 speakers not the 2 cabs.

And getting more 10's is correct - 15's are rubbish

There are hundreds of mods you can do to change it to how you like it, download the tone stack calculator for a start. You can mod the capacitor values to have the tone section virtually flat, or with extreme scooped mids (the original is a slight mid scoop centred around 1kHz).

True bypass does what it says on the tin, when the pedal is off it is off - the signal is routed only through the footswitch. Without true bypass you can get some bleeding of the signal which will affect tone slightly, I wouldn't worry about it unless you're running a chain of about 60 pedals


Comparing tone section (centered) of USA and Russian:
USA: -5dB@ around 850Hz
Sovtek: -7dB@ around 1kHz

Might explain why people prefer the more scooped sound of the Russian further into the mids for bass.
