Thanks! And same, first became aware of the Pill in early 2020 but just wasn't able to get a preorder in until this batch First impressions are that it's very cool, especially with long drawn out synths/pads etc for groove based ducking. Nice with reverb for volume swell type effects too, but you have to nail your timing so the note doesn't stick out before/after the ducking

Been looking forward to this arriving! The Pill from Switzerland - sidechain compression / ducking effect. You can use the touch sensitive controls to trigger the effect, but I've got some patterns coming out Ableton that I'll send into the trigger input. Looking forward to seeing what it can do!!

Not sure about that. Plenty of Ibanez basses have similarly small headstocks (tiny headstocks are definitely an irrational hate of mine while we're on the topic) which fit 'Ibanez' just fine And there actually examples of older 'soundgear' basses that do include the full 'Ibanez' name like below. But at some point they must have switched the current logo.

This is why I find it hard to get my head around how people dial in these complex patches on HX Stomps, Fractal, or said FX unit of choice, and have those patches translate well in every environment... Some of these units aren't very tweakable on the fly, so I find the idea of being stuck in very specific/situational patches pretty unappealing. Surely tones, like amps, need tweaking based on room size, etc.

My biggest gripe is primary coloured instruments - was it Fender himself who questioned who on earth would want to play a blue/red/green etc guitar? Someone high profile of the time did, anyway. I heard it recently on an episode of 5 Watt World. Instruments should either be black, white, or some kind of wood grain/natural finish - like classical instruments - if someone turned up with a metallic red trumpet you'd think they were a right clown... And headstocks should always match the body, no matter what. What's especially bad is when you have a primary colour instrument with a non-painted headstock, rosewood fretboard, and coloured pickguard. 🥲 Like this fella here... Four different colours going on and none of them really match, just tacky. No style, no consistency. it would look more acceptable with a matching blue headstock and a white pickguard. (but still wrong) /

Yes, see the switch on the right - the boost setting is for bringing guitar signals up to line level, or turn off if your source is already line level. There are demoes of people using this with synths etc.

Hi, I'll screenshot the error message next time I try and log in, but I may not even bother - 6 years of technical issues, might just sell the thing once and for all. Definitely not incorrect username etc, I made a whole new account as resetting old passwords is impossible (reset link just takes you to the homepage.. )....

Anybody know if the global directory via the manager down? I can log in at the auraplug fidatabase2 but can't log in via the manager.

Appreciate the response, looking more into the Morningstar UI and it seems fairly straight forward. Thanks for the help as always

Apologies if this has been answered before, it's difficult to dig up answers in this thread due to the size. Planning to get a Morningstar controller of some kind (MC3 or 6) to help navigate through patches, etc. I'm running firmware v3.6 on the OG model. I'd like to program the MIDI controller to select specific patches via 'Program Change'. I'm new to MIDI controllers, I get the concept of sending a CC value to change banks (CC90 and CC91 respectively for the F.I.) but I'm not sure how to approach the first few options that have names rather than CC values. The user interface for the Morningstar seems to have a box where you type the CC value, would you simply type the CC name here instead? Thanks!

Origin Effects Cali76 Compact Bass compressor - *SOLD* Amazing bass compressor, been on my board for 6 years now, time to move it on. I've removed the Velcro from underneath as it had gotten pretty tatty, and the chassis has been given a good clean. Two minor marks/dents - one below the footswitch, one on the Ratio knob - both shown in photos. Message if you have any questions

I've only ever tried La Bella Deep Talking flats tbh, found them to be well balanced. -

Stingray with flats is my favourite, my particular Ray just doesn't sound right with rounds. -
