Bass player/lead vocals/harmony vocals, based in North London, 38 years' experience, 53 years old, seasoned veteran of many a campaign, vast experience, seeks all viable projects, from simple demos, to studio albums, sessions, one-off gigs, tours, projects, bands, solo artists, established artists, unestablished artists. I can sing and front an original band, or covers band, or fit in as additional vocalist as and where required. Rock covers, funk and soul, rhythm & blues old school/new school. I have 5 string fretted basses, and Ampeg SVT amplifiers, with 4x10, 1x15, 8x10, 1x15 folded horn enclosures for low frequencies, in the old school tradition. I am a fast learner, can construct charts/cheat sheets, and have been told that after charting 80 covers in 2 days, it was like I had been in the band 20 years, and was shocking for the other band members, that this could be done. I learned this in the USA, whilst off the road from a main touring outfit, picking up cover gigs in cities, and being taught cheat sheets by American keyboard players and guitarists from the musicians' referral service USA. I could be happy playing jazz standards, soul funk band doing 70's and 60's soul funk, or flat out rock n roll, hard rock, flat out metal covers. Obviously good guitarists and keyboard players help things along. I have my own truck and PA should the need arise. Obviously each project has to be financially viable.
