1. I am selling an extremely rare Seafoam Green MTD535. It has Wenge neck and Wenge Fingerboard and Black Korina/Limba body. It's really a cool instrument - looks and plays like no other bass!!! Sadly, my studio needs some investments, so I decided to sell it as well. The firm price is 2200 EUR. The bass is in Tallinn, Estonia, EU and I am ready to ship it worldwide. The buyer will pay for the shipping.
2. A few possible buyers but still for sale...
3.
lower price
Would you ship it to Tallinn, Estonia?
4.
Nice colour! T
Thanks! I love these 60s colors!!!
5. Still for sale! Just played this bass and once again realised how good this bass is.
6. Enrico promised to send out the bass next week!!! You can hear the sound samples soon.
7. I just played this bass last night and guess what? It plays even better than one of my US made MTD353 (not the one I am selling right now in BC)!!! Amazingly good bass for the money. And still for sale!!! PS! I played it against my friend's boutique Jazz bass yesterday and my friend had to admit that his 3000K jazz bass played and sounded much worse. )
8. Lots of interest from different parts of the world but still for sale. I can lower the price - the price will be 2100 EUR!!! Grab this!
9. Hey, this bass is still for sale! And I could sell it for a lowered price - 1200 EUR plus shipping (appr 35-90 EUR). So, let me know if someone wants to get a nice funk machine!
10.
Probably some issues with the exchange rate on the Euro. At today's rates 2,500 Euros is about £2,350. A year ago it would have been maybe £1,850. This means that basses already in the UK and valued in £Sterling are going to be trading at anything up to 25% cheaper than those based in Europe. Conversely, if you're in the UK & selling something to Europe then it's a great time to sell - I've done just that earlier this year & got a lot more in £ for an exchange with someone in Spain than I would have got over here. All swings and roundabouts of course - hopefully exchange rates will settle and stop getting in the way of trading some excellent basses across Europe
Thanks for the comment! Yes, that is the situation. If anyone is seriously interested let me know. Let's talk about the price. Margus
11. SOLD! Hi! I am selling all my basses except WTs. This time there's a wonderful bass from MTD - the heavily modified Heir 5 for sale. This bass is made in Korea but it has been refinished. It has a thin Baby Blue Nitro finish now. When the original finish was strip down the bass started to sing almost like an US made MTD. It was really a big difference. I also changed the tuners to US Hipshot Ultralites and bridge to Hipshot A-Style. All the harware is Golden except the knobs. The pickups are hand wound by a local master builder Halvo Liivamägi and they sound loud and clear even without active preamp (in fact people don't believe that this bass is passive). There is always possibility (and place) to install the preamp though. This bass has the best B-string in my collection. I have invested more than 600 EUR into that bass. The original cost was 799 EUR. It is much better than US made Fenders. The bass is in Tallinn. A SPECIAL SALES PRICE FOR THE COMING WEEK - 750 EUR. The buyer pays for the shipping. The cheapest shipping cost is about 35 EUR (Estonian Post), with insurance about 90 (DHL).
12. Some interested buyers but still for sale! I am ready to talk about the price as well!
13. A lot of interest but still for sale!
14. Hey guys, do you have enough time for practicing as well? I feel sorry that my ad took so much time away from so many people.
15.
Keep it, I reckon. That would settle the VAT/pricing comments once and for all Plus it's lovely.
16.
Looks cool. Not overkeen on the plate TBH. I was not over impressed when I tried a W&T but then we all like different things. +1 on the coffee table bit - I like solid colours.
Where did you try it? And what model was that? I visited Enrico's place some time ago and most of the basses I could play there were extremely good. Although, nobody is perfect and you can always find not-so-good basses from any manfacturer. I've heard quite bad stories even about some 10K basses.
