  1. I have one of these: It’s as lovely as an ACG Bass; amazing pictures and great stories and bass notes.
  2. That's a lovely end result. Great finish and look. How much does it weigh?
  3. It even matches the sofa and flooring: will look good in house sale pictures Joking aside: lovely bass. Very fretless indeed, wonder if there are some slightly fretless ones out there.
  4. Yeah - I hear some demo vids where they're playing grindy, distorted riffs in tunings well below B, and even with clever DG pedals and skilful playing to cut the boom and sludge it's pretty atonal to my ears.
  5. I do like their noodling. It’s like Scale the Summit without the unnecessary guitars

    Oooooh.
  7. Ooh I fancied a Modern Player when they first came out: didn’t they have toggles for coil switching?
  8. Wow: Glou Glou’s for sale! Unicorn poop!
  9. It’s been redone with Michael Palin narrating, permanently on cbeebies at about 18:10. New series and stories, same characters.
  10. I’ve not had enough coffee to parse that. There are some absolute fruitcakes out there!
  11. Wow; you could open a shop with that lot!
  12. If all the sage advice fails then you can always resort to a hammer and some shouting.
  13. Yowsers. Nice.
  14. Crikey - either the Nut is an inch high, or the neck is bent like a longbow...
  15. Wow! Awesome finish, love the red stripe especially.
  16. The same thing as goes through their mind when they see a 'firm at £400 price" - they ask: 'What's your best price?' (coz obviously I deserve a better deal)
  17. Ooh is that a Precision?
  18. Cor that’s epic. Alan never fails to impress.
  19. I had an RBX765A but also wanted a JM6. Such lovely things.
  20. Their first album was really good and they could have gone on in that direction. But no, they had to have a blinkin' big hit and all the life was sucked from their heads.
  21. Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhh. And here's me looking at pick-ups, profiles, fretboard inlays and knobs!
  22. I'm gonna be dim and ask what the difference is between the CHB-1 and -2? I've seen pics of both and I'm clearly being distracted by the amazeballs finished. There used to be an amethystburst one (I think it was called that) which was utterly gorgeous.
  23. To be fair - all their current products look very nice. The Revival Drive is so knobby and switchy. mmmmm.....
