    That neck! I admit to finding Fodera body shapes a bit meh; but their craft is off the scale, that looks amazing. Bet even I’d sound passable on it.

    But - and this is very important, even if original users in the 60s and 70s didn't do this - no matter that the pedal was put together with the fervent urgency and foolishness of a GCSE Design Tech student - it must be TRUE BYPASS.

    Whataboutism. The confederates wanted slaves and seceeded to keep it that way. It doesn’t matter how many flag wavers don’t want slavery to come back; the symbolism perpetuates the shameful history. No amount of ‘heritage’ can cover this up. There is plenty of cultural difference and variety in The South to stop needing to fly this flag (or near-facsimiles). It’s also perfectly possible to combat modern slavery and dislike reminders of slavery in the past. This is the same lame argument about caring for homeless ex-soldiers before letting refugees in; rich nations can do both.

    You might not need the band on an individual, marginal basis, but I'd argue society benefits from creative endeavour - it's just that society doesn't want to value it fairly.
