  1. EHX Epitome, if no one’s mentioned it. Combines reverb, chorus, flanger and octaver.
  2. Chowny also do the Pitchcraft, but yeah, you’re getting into multiple boxes
  3. The Chowny Bass-mosphere!
  4. He triggered Chuck Norris by being too liberal too…
  5. Yeah; once I realised that I could hear essentially Rhythm bass and guitar behind the lead soloing, it made sense. His solo output is pretty interesting too.
  6. His playing on the Union album by Yes: sounds like a fretless with a metal fretboard, awesome noises.
  7. Oof, crikey, etc.
  8. Great review. Love that colour.
  9. Had a first listen to it today; really good, needs some more listens.

    Sold!

What does the red button do? (curious)
  11. Paging @stewblack, resident tri-parallel mixer expert.
  12. Well Squash has been out of the Olympics for ages, so who knows what the organisers think.
  13. You think competitive bbq is mad, check out pro-Cornhole league. They’ll put anything on tv.
  14. Drool. Lovely. Series makes the sound fatter (super fatty squared, if you will). Or does parallel do that: someone cleverer than me knows.
  15. Not yet: hard enough watching Neil Peart videos, let alone Gord…!
  16. Speed River - The Tragically Hip
  17. They make 3 I know of; one of them is the BUF300 for bass. Edit: actually, flippin hard to find. Are they discontinued perhaps?
  18. I was aware of The Cure, like most, but never really 'into' them until I saw them at Glasto err is it 2 years ago now? It was amazing. Loved the Bass VI stuff, and the regular Bass noise too. Went through their back catalogue on Spotify, loads of good bass noise and tunes to like.
  19. Aww. No way. I loved me some ZZ Top, especially the bouncing thump of Dusty’s bass.
  20. Conspiracy claptrap, that’s what!!
  21. Isn't the Forte basically the B|Amp without the DSP and screen? (The Luddites version, if you will.) I do know that every review/comment I've seen from someone who has either is that it's amazeballs.
  22. @Dood probably has a review of it online. I know he has one for the B|Amp
  23. £30 per month is the extra bit, for one pedal at a time. £55 for 2, £75 for 3.
  24. Nobody needs music? Why does it exist then? That’s along the lines of letting all creatives suffer as most seem to be doing in these constrained times: after all what have they done for us? (Goes the refrain)
  25. No. That’s defeatism borne of late-stage capitalism.
