Exactly - even if you don't have a Kink for Clamps, it's exciting enough.

Hah - I knew you'd corrupt a clever eq pedal into another filter - you just want to confuse all the 'which filter pedal do I need?' posters! Does it have a similar function to the EQ1 with the random sweep thingy?

MrsAndyjr1515 needs a supportive, slightly loopy, collection of admirers of craft to sell her bespoke wares too - Potchat (wait, too weedy), Kilnbuzz, or Clayreka - drum up some interest in curious little bowls you can fill with M&Ms and have on the coffee table when friends come for a socially distanced soiree.

Nice! what’s with all the ikkle pots and bowls on the sideboard? Does one of you throw shapes too?

Sure: Another brick in the Wall Pt II, or is it III? - the Live version on Pulse. Guy does a slap bit under Mr Renwick's geetar solo (after the regular DG, iconic solo).

I'm liking the look of this beastie: much improved and expanded from the first version with parametric eq, noise gate and limiter, hpf and shelving options, and all the stereo, hub and midi wizardry that makes my head hurt. https://www.sourceaudio.net/eq2_programmable_equalizer.html#

I really like the colour on that; headstock's not a problem either. What's the bass next to it in the 3rd picture?

Local Hero played solo (with backing track) on the Millennium Footbridge between Gateshead and Newcastle before the Great North Run one year: spine-tingling. Expresso Love and Tunnel of Love are my faves.

I have never heard of them - but then, I'd never heard of Rush once. What style of noise do/did Max Webster play?

13 - Black Sabbath. After several meh albums, this is awesome - 3 of the original line up plus Brad Wilk (RATM) on drums. Geezer has such a tone on this, love it, and gets some noodly runs in too.

I had the same head too, for about 20yrs. Lovely tone shaping, just never got to use it loud: even volume 1 through a Trace 150w 15” cab was enough to get me told off.

Clamptastic! Loving that wood too, and admire your willingness to have a go! -
Lee Pomeroy on Rick Wakeman's new record...
Daz39 replied to wateroftyne's topic in General Discussion
Darnit, that Ric makes a great noise! Yeah, cool bloke and a great player. What a gig; just make stuff up ‘til Mr Wakeman says: ‘yeah that’s alright actually Lee.’ (For a riff over a 5/4, 6/4, 7/4 pattern) -
Robert Fripp - The progmeister - At his very best!

He’a a singular fellow: musically and personally. I admire his creative drive and eccentricity. -
Surely if you want to be a real Master Craftsperson; after you’ve used 80gsm printer paper, brown packing paper, rolled up clingfilm (when it tears wrong and you need a metre of it to cover a yoghurt pot), and then dandelion fluff, the real final step is to give every piece of the wood a good hard staring at until it damn well smooths, shines and flattens itself to perfection.

Mr Jackson’s epic tone on Operation: Mindcrime.

Yeah - it'll have been a PhD for some student of medieval history or sumfink. It was certainly less risky than Blacksmith. /tangent

Wonder what the life expectancy of Middle Ages Bowyers was!

Crikey - do you ever stop for lunch?

ooh - nice. Is the finish glittery? The pic isn't quite clear enough. What are the controls?

Shmexy! That does look nice.
