    Boss SY-1

    New? They're going backwards - wasn't it SY-3 and SY-5 before?
  2. I see the same with Artists on my fb feed, or friends who have friends who craft things (jumpers, cards, all sorts) - 'oh, I'll only pay you for the materials,' or 'I will share your work with all my twitter followers' (1,200 other skint losers?) etc. Pretty feeble attitude this is - it's up there with unpaid internships.
  3. Hah - not you, I meant Bilbo showing off on a 7 Patitucci only needed 6!
  4. Can someone hold @binky_bass's beer please?
  5. Ok - officially hot under collar at that wiring diagram. How tidy is that?!
  6. Oh no! There was a whole argument thread over Sandberg zero frets last year!!
  7. This one's easy if your other half can not distinguish between two sunburst tbirds. Just say it's the one you own that went for a service or a mate borrowed and gave me an old spare case for it.
  8. Bloody hell! my sympathies!
  9. I once sold an effects pedal on eBay and did not mention a PSU, nor did Pics include one. Buyer sent it back saying not sold as described as his assumption would be that it came with a PSU, even if not pictured. Return postage swallowed, case closed. No use arguing, eBay aren't bothered about buyer's remorse, or the fact the bidder ended up paying more than he wanted for it.
  10. Don’t return it? I wasn’t advocating blind returns but meant that No Returns does not mean what the seller thinks it does.
  11. Ofc - just because it's a No Returns Listing does not mean you can't return it. Sale of Goods Act still applies: just say it's not as described. I have won several bids on Lego items only for the sale to be cancelled because the item didn't realise enough. Just set a reserve or higher starting bid. Ofc eBay do nothing about that either.
  12. Guitarist and Bassist are not currently touring - so they are using hired replacements.
  13. Or do you!!! *tinfoil hat*
  14. I think Jeff is the entertainment, the music is just there also. He has a semi-regular session in LA that is part improv comedy and part music.
  15. Aaahhh. What’s the Rex then? A reverse?
  16. Do they not make many then? Looks really nice.
  17. Just catching up on BBC Sounds app: Jeff Goldblum and some tasty jazzy tunes, with good upright noises too.
  18. Same! I’ve been on a spotify tour of 80s-90s bands that I just didn’t get.
  19. They do sound better live than a lot of their albums.
  20. The Cure rocking a nice high register bass noise and other chap with a Bass VI for their opener. and is that a Baritone in Mr Smith’s hands? We’re spoiled...
  21. I thought the Killers were good: the tour players are good and drummer was on it. Yeah Brandon gets a bit club singer live but he is a great showman and the crowd know every word and sway so it’s a win for them.
  22. It’s like a cameo come on down: Pet Shop Boys, now Johnny Marr... To be fair they can just live off Mr Brightside: 200 wks in the UK singles charts.
  23. I liked his show; a lot of thought and planning, and he engaged well.
