  1. Ok - I forgot about the SD - it has lots of knobs. I was referring to the 3 and 4 knob phaser, comp, flanger, delay etc.
  2. Hold on, back up a pic or two - does Doc Emmett Brown know you nicked his speaker cab?!

    Darkglass X7

There's also a plain old X version with no sliders and a smaller frame: so £229 then...

Ooh - looks flash. I can't keep up with all the pedals now. B3k7CubedInvertedEpsilon. what do we reckon then: £249?
  5. If only they'd applied the same discount to their amp wattage figures eh! I like the style of their new pedals, but they're far too big.
  6. I dunno - yoof of today. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_Week_(song)
  7. This is in danger of becoming a Barenaked Ladies tribute thread... I haven't bought a pedal for 2 months. Actually - I have bought 5 pedals in the last year and not been able to try ANY of them as I have no space to play.
  8. How long til TC up the direct price to take advantage of this though!
  9. Don't make me quote Admiral Ackbar at you!!
  10. I love trem effect but can’t decide what to go for, is this thing the knees of the bees?
  11. Just for clarity - I wasn't meaning to suggest anyone else did them first, just that was another luthier I had seen use them!
  12. It's a bit like some of the tops Alpher do. Utterly bonkers. Looks really cool - I also can not wait to see progress.
  13. The live version on Keys to Ascension is even better!
  14. Paging @Dood , the flippin' king of flip paint finishes!
  15. Egads, there’s a big hole in the middle?!
  16. Ooof - all the feels. Awful situation. *awaits better posts to follow.*
  17. Yeah what @bluewine said: she occupies a particular space in the memory; her music and personality were very much part of the 'resistance' in the civil rights movement, and add that to the resonance of her greatest hits and their uses (is there a better feminist tune than Respect that isn't I Will Survive?)
  18. Anything made for the mighty Mr Myung is bound to be fantastic, I prefer these and the earlier RBXJMs to the Bongo he wields thesedays.
  19. I have a Columbus P-Bass. It sounds just fine, but the neck appears to be granite, painted in maple and is the shape of a baseball bat - so it'll have to go!
  20. Most insightful and informative. I can barely cut MDF into a shelf, but am still fascinated by the skills behind the art. @LukeFRC is right, this ought to be pinned - perhaps there should be a section in the build diaries forum for skills, techniques etc. There are a growing number of highly skilled craftspeople here and I'm sure the budding and newbie self-builders would love an easily accessible set of guides for things like this.
