  1. It has a dry knob. turn it down, and turn Sub 1 or Sub 2 up and boom. Or rather, Blatt...
  2. It was significantly smaller back then. It’s growing at a daft rate: considering it’s pointlessly hot 8 months a year and there’s ever less water.
  3. Decathlon (and I don't think they're the only one) offer a return system for specific used tents - they have a festival one for £0 and if you bring it back in decent condition you get a £30 voucher.
  4. It all gets cleared up. Every last scrap. The site team will be taking it all down for days yet. I doubt there’s enough bins to put it all in by the end of the festival. leaving tents behind is lazy though.
  5. Opening with Pinball Wizard and some epic soloing on the Flying V (I think?). Epic.
  6. Ok. Watching Rick’s main set now. Drumming to Highway to Hell (and singing). He even twirls the sticks. Ok. I’m giving up playing…
  7. They played the Piece Hall here in Halifax last week; my mate and his lad went and said they were great.
  8. Rick was wasted on high gloss pop. This is brilliant! What a performer and voice.
  9. Watching the Rick and Blossoms set on iPlayer. i could never have imagined that the chap who tortured my ears with his pop stylings on the car radio when I was 11 or 12, would be drinking Jager and Red Stripe mid set before telling himself off for coming in too early and belting out Smiths hits (he was 18 when their 1st album came out so he must have those tracks worn into his brain.)
  10. Fripp, Wilcox and band are on the acoustic stage, doing metal covers…
  11. Carly Rae Jepsen: Call Me Maybe, massive hit in err 2011 and I Really Like You in 2015 (Tom Hanks was the lead in the music video). She’s had loads of albums and she’s Canadian. Ooh she also did music and voixe acting on the animated film Ballerina (I have 3 daughters…) Phew, that’s my pop knowledge exhausted for the evening.
  12. Did you get as far as the angel hair pasta for sanding? That does look spiffingly tactile by the way, soft and rounded yet still angular.
  13. Awesome! Loser thieves not even clever enough, or probably on the Do Not Serve list, to flog them at Cash Converters!
  14. Yeah - agree. That's a fine looking thing. I even like the quirky indents and relief on the top horn.
  15. Standing barefoot on Lego. Catching your old chap in your trouser zip. umm…
  16. Top stuff. They really make a difference. The neck pickup corner looks like it is over/against the control panel edge - is that just the angle or does it need a little file?
  17. I second that and raise a Neil Peart Drum Solo live. I'm not a drummer and I loved it. My best mate's Wife, who is a brass band musician, came to an R30 gig with us (she had a mild interest in Rush before then) and loved it so much she became a drummer.
  18. @GisserD is a 3D maestro methinx, he does the Future Impact small enclosures.
  19. I have D'addario halfwounds on my Peavey and they are lovely - smooth to play, but not totally thumpy. They last ages too. Edit: had a look to see which ones: ENR71 45-100. Crikey: £51 from D'addario website. I think I've had mine on 5+ years - they def. weren't that much! *grumble, cost of living, moan*
  20. Cor you drink a lot of semi-skimmed. Mrs Andyjr1515 must keep you down there for ages!
  21. Not Guilty - Paul Langlois band (guitarist from The Tragically Hip)
