Any recommendations for places that would do a custom one from my current template?
Give "Bass Doc" a PM.
I was under the impression that, the UK distributers at the time,Selmer ? re-sprayed a lot of Fender basses at the time, because the custom colours were hard to come by,and the colour turned out slightly pink instead of fiesta red.
Ahh,now we have somewhere to start.
I would still say No3.
1/sounds cheap,if you know what i mean.Hofner ?
2/sounds the most "vintage".Starfire ?
3/Sounds the best.Overwater ?
Clip 3 has the fuller, rounder tone,to me.My favourite of the 3 clips, maybe thats the bass you like the most ?
You would really ned to elaborate on "vintage"
Very, very nice indeed, and don't take this the wrong way - but I reckon one of them twins is adopted.
Ahh,but they are both built by the same person.
I've had a quick search, but ca'nt find anything yet, because i ca'nt remember the manufacturers name. There is another product called Tekaloid that is also excellent, and should'nt be hard to find.
