Allen key adjustment at the body end of the neck is a common but annoying build feature on a lot of basses.

That's not a usual type of finish,maybe it's an older one,the headstock logo looks different to the latest ones too.

He can't be doing that good,looks like he can't afford strings.

I really miss the Fender Bassman head and 2x15 cab that i had. What make is the resonator ? i could do with something like that.

Check out the JHS website for details of the models.I do'nt think they have changed much. P basses are the "Icon"in a relic/vintage finish,and the V4 in standard finishes.All are fitted with Wilkinson hardware as standard.

What was the tune ?

I do'nt think that i'll ever part with mine either,i bought it used about 7 years ago. TBH,i have thought about moving it on a few times,but never seem to go through with it.There's just something that i really like about it,but i do'nt know what it is,and it's never been my main gigging bass.I have thought about putting good passive pickups in,as im not really keen on active circuits.

Mine runs almost the full length of my Jazz,i think some people call them B strings.

The only bass i had with no taper was an old Egmond,terrible. What kind of Country do you play ?
