1. Squier bullet bass.
2. Fender + squier bullet bass ? 34" + 30" scales. 32" squier MIJ P
3. The Blues are only as boring as you make them IMO,it's horses for courses. Most of the Jazz that i've heard does nothing at all for me. As stated before,it's in all kinds of music,so you can learn something familiar from the start.
4. I had a 60's EB3,loved it,im really tempted by the Epi one.Massive range of tones in one bass ? the ones that i have had, ended up being unused.
5. If it's any help,a lot of the "bands" usually duo's,on the country scene that use backing tracks tend to use mini disc players straight into the P.A.
6. I have the DBS head with 1x15 and 2x10+1x15 bought for £400 IIRC,so i would say £300 - £350.
7. Spray the pot with switch cleaner,or a quick fix WD 40,no more crackles.
8. You could try silicon sealer,if you need to take them back out for any reason, they will be easier to get out than if you had used glue.Quick fix ? wrap with tin foil ?
9. Try Ronseal French polish for the neck,i have used it before with good results. Body stain,to give that grubby look ? wood dye.
10. Scratches - take them out with Solvol Autosol, then T-Cut.
11. What's the problem ?
12. And 2x 1Kgdairy milk bars.
13. Is there still room on the sofa ? i've got beers.
14. Has anyone made a good Telecaster guitar style bass ? the only ones that i have seen are made by Shine. The scale length is shorter,it should look like this IMO.
15. http://www.wdmusic.co.uk/product/Jazz_Bass...eshell_JBAS-305 currently out of stock though BTW.......thanks Clarky, you made me need this.
16. The "real thing" being the one that looks closest,is £679.AMPEG SVT450H SOLID STATE 450-WATT BASS HEAD AMPLIFIER
17. The main features of the Behringer ULTRABASS BVT4500H include: •Powerful 450-Watt bass amplifier head for crappy sound and performance •Non-musical 9-band graphic EQ for limited frequency control •Dedicated Bass, Mid and Treble controls for unusable sound shaping •Switchable limiter for ultimate volume with distortion •Balanced XLR DI output for direct connection to your Game boy. •Switchable Tuner Out which does'nt work either as a tuner connection or a live monitor feed •Effects Loop for external effects devices (stomp boxes, rack effects, etc.) So that you might have a slim chance of making this sound OK'ish. •Power Amp In and Preamp Out connectors allow you direct access to the power amp and a signal tap from the preamp section for even greater versatility •3 speaker outputs: Two 1/4 inch jacks and a professional speaker connector (compatible with Neutrik Speakon connectors) •In-Active, temperature-controlled cooling system for ultimate protection •Ultra-rugged power supply with cheap transformer for unreliable power. Customers who bought this also bought .Something better after 2 weeks. .Mind altering substances. I think that neither Ampeg,or Ashdown have anything to fear.IMO
18.
The body seemed more like pine than maple, almost like a cheap Ikea table, but the wood on this looks a bit better from the poor quality photo. Tone wise, not too bad, but sounded a bit cheap. The pickup is not very good, as others have said, but any humbucker size one should fit and be an improvement. These are really nothing special, and certainly not some amazing closet secret wonder find. I wouldnt pay more than a ton for it J
That just about describes the Gibson Grabber that i owned,in about 1980.It also cost £120.It was a huge toilet seat shaped piece of landfill.
19. I allways thought that Wales was in the Soviet bloc, now confirmed..........................sorry.Some INTERESTING looking things there though.
20. The site is crap,i had to click on the "look at this"bit to get any details.
